I posted these over in the EWU forum, but I thought some of you guys might be interested in watching them. These are videos are EWU's redshirt freshman Henry Bekkering, who will play this year. These are from when he was in high school and a full inch shorter than he is now. He's now listed at 6'6, 225. He's got a 41" vertical. The first was is just okay, but the second video is awesome. We've (eGriz & myself) had our eyes on this kid for awhile. We even went to the basketball game at Cheney last year to watch him. Since he was redshirting we just wanted to see if he would warm up with the team. Well he did, but he didn't do any amazing dunks...so we were a little bummed. But he's going to be fun to watch nonetheless.

Yeah, he red-shirted last year but he could start this year, not sure. Cool pictures. How's your guys basketball team seem to be shaping up for this year?

Larry Krystkowiak is the new Griz Basketball Head Coach. Wayne Tinkle, Andy Hill & Brad Huse are the assistants.
 
Didn't Beckering also play for the football team for awhile, punter or something like that. Work with a guy whose father is an assistant on the Basketball team and they weren't too excited about the possibility. Great athlete nonetheless. Great get Eags!
