Real funny. Nice joke. Feel free to name any BSC team that Jones and Henderson wouldn't start for, let alone the "most other teams" either wouldn't start for.

Jones was picked first team all-conference for this season and is being listed as one of the FCS guys who will get NFL attention. Is that an indication that he couldn't start for most other teams, in your view?

Henderson, at his best, is all-american quality. In 2013, as a sophomore, was 2d team all-conference. Should have been 1st, in my view. Only 3 players in FCS had more receptions for TD's. He had an astounding 23.44 yards per catch, easily the best in FCS.

Henderson is one of the top 10 Griz receivers ever. Jones will be the top 15 if he has a good year. All, in my view, of course.

....this is nothing more than your homerism, sugar-coated bias coming through

Nope. What I said was objective, accuate and backed by evidence. What you said has zero support and is completely out to lunch. I can't imagine that you can find even one poster who would agree that the two receivers are "mediocre" and wouldn't start for "most other BSC teams". Your initial post may rank as one of the dumbest football posters ever on egriz.

PR, were you born without a sense of humor or did you have it surgically removed? It was clearly satire to me. No need to raise your BP.

At the same time they removed his head from his @$$...gotta a screamin' deal

My 2015 prediction:

If both players gain less than 800 yards for the reg season - Montana goes 7-4

If both players get over 800 yards (reg season), and approx. 50% of receiving TD's - Montana goes 8-3

If both players get over 900 yards (reg season), and 50+% of receiving TD's - Montana goes 9-2

If both players get over 1000 yards (reg season) and 60% of receiving TD's - Montana goes 10-1 and Conf Champions

I just have to say it: that really isn't a "prediction."

This would be a prediction: "Both players will get over 1000 yards and the Griz will go 10-1."

Am I right? Can I get a mod ruling on that?

Dunno about a Mod ruling, but from me you'll get a big ol' "AMEN!!!"

WOW, raider got someone to bite the bait, hook, line, and sinker.

Let's see the interpretation/explanations of these recent comments from Raider:

1. With regard to the pre-season all-conference team: "The Griz having 4 on this list is 4 too many.

Objectively speaking."

2. With regard to the preseason poll: "How are the Griz even in the top 10?"

GrizRule, 420, Everett, etc? Balls in your court. Speak up.

Yeah. You been punked.

Who cares? It gave me an opportunity to provide more stats and analysis on the receivers, and provide my general view on Raider.

Let's see you answer my about questions about the meaning of 2 of Raider's recent posts. Explain to us what he was saying or meaning.

What is trolling for an idiot to respond to them.

I'll take Fat Bison Fans for 400, AWF!

Does BP stand for blood pressure or butt plug? Both seem relevant here...

Sweet Jesus, PR.

Is this from the guy who comes to the Mo Club knowing that I'll likely be there, pretends to be watching tv intently, eavesdrops on my conversations with the bartenders, does not introduce himself despite sitting on the next stool, and then reports briefly on his time at the Mo Club. Talk about no balls.

Sir, Please. I don't believe that Raider's balls have anything to do with Grizzly football, the Big Sky Conference or FSC Football (I could be wrong). Please contain your posts to relevant comments.

Not me, but super try.

Using 2014 stats for Jones and 2013 stats for Hendo:

In 2014 J. Jones had 1044 receiving yards and 8 TD's - he caught 33% of the team passing yards and 28% of the passing TD's.

In 2013 Henderson did better percentage wise. He had 1008 receiving yards (in one less game than Jones had in 2014) but had a remarkable 14 receiving TD's.

The floor is now open for critique

There is no magic formula but it's just as likely the opposite of what you stated...a good, balanced, multi-faceted team shouldn't rely too heavily on two players...I would hope the ball gets spread around and the offense doesn't become overly predictable. I'm not sure we've ever had two 1,000 plus yard receivers in the same season...it's possible, but not likely. Your stats high stats of two players somehow adding up to more wins just doesn't add up in my mind. Turnovers, third down defense, red zone offense, good special teams, are some things more likely to factor into the big picture.
