Bison fan here. I live in Oregon but will be in Missoula next Saturday. Can anyone please tell me a good place to watch the game with some friendly Griz fans?

You aren't particularly good at this trolling thing....perhaps a new handle and new approach could help.

Excuse me, but Roos is perhaps the least friendly away game atmosphere that I have ever experienced as a Bison fan. We weren't welcomed anywhere really, especially in the tailgate lot, or whatever that little dull parking area would be considered. Even when our fans showed up in decent numbers at a breakfast restaurant, the staff seemed more bothered than greatful for the business. Cheney is an awful setting for college football. The people seem indifferent to the team, frankly.
Griz fans are different. I have met only one in my life (Griz1952 is looney tunes...) that wasn't good for a beer and some great football talk. If I wasn't a Bison fan, I would say the Griz have the best, most energetic fans I know. I think Bison fans generally feel a type of kinship with Griz fans. That is why we generally cheer for UM against just about any other team.
Four years ago, Griz fans got me drunk in Missoula on my way back from watching my Bison tear apart the Cats in Bozeman. I wish I could remember the name of that bar. Anyway, thanks for the advice on where to go this Saturday. Go Griz!!(except for this Saturday...)

I am sure you will be welcomed anywhere. My favorites are either Montana Club, Paradise Falls, Hooters, or Buffalo Wild Wings. Press Box is a mixed bag, depending on their staffing any given day. I've had a few rather forgettable experiences there.
