HellsAbsolutelyEffinYEAH, I'm donating. The band busts their collective asses and adds so much for so very little. Let's give them all a trip they deserve and will never forget.

Donation submitted, GB.

So true on the very little respect. I was in the Marching band for a semester my freshman year and it's a ton of work/practice for one credit.
What year were you in marching band, Peaux?

That name is familiar to me. Was he any good?....

Ha! Can't type apparently. Or he's a near relative to Randy Moss...

The funniest part of this is that I was just making a bad joke and hadn't even SEEN the misspelling!!

I see MSU donated $3,000 to get the band to frisco.

President Cruzado must have pulled the UM band tag from the office charity tree for needy families.

Merry Christmas ya filthy animals.

Yeah, that's pretty damn cool. Tip o' the GRIZ hat to Waded and MSU.

Likely trying to generate some positive publicity to get the heat off from DUI-gate.

Well it was Waded and Costello, who after the Big Sky Conference reduced the number of required number of visitor seat allocations from 500 to 300, first floated the idea that visiting schools would either need to purchase seats for their bands or they’d have to come out of the 300 seat allotment. She then let UM take all the heat for being the first to host the Brawl under the new agreement signed by the schools in which a visiting band didn’t attend the Brawl.

The desperately needed some positive press, there's no doubt about that.

Wait. They really didn't since the reporters in MT are too afraid to cover the DUIs, the cover-up, the on-going DOE investigation over there, etc.

I am not shocked by any of this at all. Very sleazy operation they run.

Say what you want but a $3,000 donation to the Griz Band is a good thing. Great that they will be there. They are an integral part of the 12th man.

It is. Very good, actually.

And likely fiscally beneficial as well. I can only presume after cutting bait with the D(ui) Coordinator, they had a little extra cash in the DUI Cover-up budget. That's almost certainly "use it or lose it". Good to get that out money of there by year-end to ensure similar funding for that line item next budget session.

Yep, that’s probably where they made the effort to find the money. Good that they found it to give to the Griz band 🙄

Hey, man, if your mom gives you $20 to set up a lemonade stand one summer, and it only takes $15 for supplies, you have to spend the remaining $5 on candy for yourself or something. If you don’t, mom will think it only takes $15 to run the lemonade stand next summer, and that’s all you’ll get. Simple government economics.

I kind of like that the MSU band supported the Griz band with that money to help them get to Frisco and wished the Griz the best. That is what it is all about. To make it all about other issues is bogus. Like I said before on here, enjoy the ride in Frisco. Make Montana proud.

I agree, and hope that you can understand friendly banter.
