Monte experienced an exhilarating victory in the 2013 Mascot Challenge this past week when he knocked off previously unbeaten Big Red of Western Kentucky. However, the celebration can't last long as this week he is up against another unbeaten, this time Rocky the Rocket from the University of Toledo. With the opponent better and the stakes higher, it is time to go the extra mile to once again propel Monte to victory.

The competition challenge this week asks fans to video/photograph themselves performing the celebration that Monte would do if he scored a touchdown. Obviously such a celebration would take place in the maroon end zones of Washington-Grizzly Stadium. Because of this, it only makes sense to open up the stadium to the masses that have the power to make Monte 4-0...Griz Nation.

This Wednesday, September 25, from noon to 1 p.m., all fans are welcome to take over John Hoyt Field inside Washington-Grizzly Stadium and perform their best touchdown celebration. Interested parties simply need to meet inside the Adams Center ticket office lobby. From there, fans will be ushered down the player’s tunnel used every home game by the Grizzly football team and out onto the field.

By attending on Wednesday, fans will get a special experience inside one of the premiere football stadiums in the western part of the country while also helping out Monte in his quest to become the 2013 Mascot of the Year.

Speaking of Montana's favorite grizzly bear, Monte will be on hand to help fans perform their celebrations and pose for pictures to add a little spice to their submissions. Remember, in order to be tallied to Monte's total, all videos/pictures must be uploaded to Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter with the hashtag #CapitalOneMonte.

A limited number of footballs will be provided for use as props but it is encouraged that participants bring their own balls. Please keep in mind that in order to park in most of the main lots at the University a permit is needed. There are a limited number of quick stop parking spaces and metered spaces that are available to the general public.

For questions about this event, please contact Brent Reser at (406) 243-2250.

As long as you tweet the video with the #CapitalOneMonte Some how I can see Monte as a drunk and that would be his TD celebration haha.

If more than 15 people show up to this I will post a video of me vomiting tequila on YouTube.

Best times in Wa-Griz involve friends, beer, and a warm summer evening. Sometimes we have to use our own footballs...
