Winner! Game Over.....

Not really a fan of all the uniform stuff. I'd say I'm old fashioned but I'm only 27. Just love tradition. Parents moved up to Montana when I was young and are crimson tide alum and I've always been a Griz fan first and tide a close second. I've always liked that both the tide and the Griz have stayed with their traditional uniforms. That is, until Montana recently started tweaking them. Don't get me wrong, I really love our uniforms now, I just don't like the trend that's sweeping college football of 10 different uniforms, a new helmet every year....etc.....just one mans opinion, however, and everyone is entitled to their own.

I saw these earlier today.. you are correct, no one will ever do a better helmet than this. These are terrific. Hand painted, position specific.

I love the changing uniforms, not sure why the NFL is so resistant to the idea, they'd make a shit ton of money on it, and everyone knows how much the NFL likes being greedy asshats.

I'm pretty sure the NFL won't allow multiple helmets during the season because of the fit of helmet and concussions. Which seems like joke, considering you could swap out the guts to a new shell. Unless the making of newer helmets are different now. Teams do have an alternate uniform.

What a waste of money. I hope my tax dollars did not pay for that. (They are pretty though.) That being said, I'd rather have less uniforms and have player names on them. It is so hard to tell who is out there, and with multiple numbers it is really confusing. Plus, the annoucers constantly call the names wrong. Last game they were call some SDSU players UM names.

+1 I would really like the players names on the back again. Have to have a dam roster in front of me every game to know who is doing what

How long before Oregon starts using canvasbacks, mallards, widgeons, red heads, loons, pin tails and wood ducks on their helmets?

I chuckle every time I hear the word asshat. just one of those things. Kinda when I say douchebaggery, same giggle.

Navy has far too much time on their hands...meanwhile, Army has been fighting wars for well over the last decade...with the Marines of course. :D

Honestly though...I think those helmets kick ass. Really like that Navy coach---in a whisper voice.

Comment 1-- I assume you are referring to those announcers on ESPN3 last Saturday. I must say, the color guy on that broadcast drove me absolutely "NUTS"..... HE WOULD NOT SHUT UP ! I finally turned off the commentary for the fourth quarter, as we just couldn't take it anymore.

Comment #2-- Both my wife and I have missed the names on the back of the jerseys as well. I really do wish they would put them back on. We too get tired of the change of uniforms so often. Guess it is just the way it is now, so we are adapting. (slowly) :)

I think the Griz should come out in Duck Blind themed uniforms the next time we play Oregon.
