Hello from Michigan

Well, I said last year that I was done posting on the message board but I just had to say hello and wish my beloved Grizzlies all the best in the brawl game.

I would like to send coach Delaney my well wishes. He deserves much respect for the job he’s done this year. I read where he sent the Irish Lad a get well card after his injury. Good job, he’s a nice young man and I wish him all the best after this game when his playing days are done.

I do miss Montana and my friends but I’m really doing okay in Michigan. I now realize that this is the place for me with relatives close by and so far, they seem happy to have me around. We’ll be gathering in a little while for a family Thanksgiving and hoping we’ll be able to see the 1st home playoff game. There’s a lot to be thankful for this year, reasonably good health, loving family members, Griz back in the playoffs and the cats home watching it all.

You would be surprised how many games I was able to see on the television set. I was worried that wouldn’t be the case but so far so good. I even watched the cats play the Eastern Eagles. The cat coach deployed the ill advised Matador defense against them. The Eagle fans were yelling Olay on every offensive possession.

I’ll admit I was too.

The brawl game is in Bozeman this year so as usual, I hope anyone making the trip travels safely and make sure you park in a secure public spot. Always keep your head on a swivel looking for flying objects and try to ignore their immature anti-Griz chants. They might be a little tamer this year since their season is now in the toilet and the Griz have their hand on the handle.

This year Timmy went to the first game against Appalachian State. He had a wonderful time tailgating in the warm weather and he enjoys telling me about how amazing it is hearing the North End Zone noise rolling through the stadium. I wish I could have experienced that.

Lets win this game going away so we have a possible week off and a couple home games so the Griz faithful and exercise their lungs again.

As usual I’ll be serving Manhattan’s, toasting the lads and hoping the Griz get the breaks.

With Warm Regards,

Griz Granny

Yes!! Glad you made the post this year Griz Granny! Always good to hear from you. The lads will need your support again this year.

Griz Granny, thanks for the nice words.
I was afraid you were still laid up after your snow boarding accident.
Next time wear the helmet even if it messes up your hair. :ugeek:

Thanks for checking in this year Griz Granny, I always look forward to your comments. Toasting the Griz with Manhattans; you have such style!

It's great to hear from you Griz Granny. I was afraid you'd gone on to a better place, but I'm very happy you're still with us mortals. I'm sure the lads will pin your letter up in the locker room for inspirational guidance. On another note, I'm worried about your grandson, Jake Weezey, we haven't heard from him in quite awhile. I hope he's ok, token with the bitches and such.
