kevraid, I guess it means that we won't be hearing again excuses or whining from you regarding George Mason's win over UConn.

Hey Grizzle were you rooting for George Mason as hard as I was? Forget about shooting for the Sweet 16 we should be hoping for the Final 4!

Way to Go GMU. No excuses, George Mason was better than Uconn today. Way to go Hey I am not a Uconn fan, and players determine the outcome. Congrats GMU. I still have my final 4 in tact ..... YA RIGHT not at all 1 of 4 as I picked texas ucla uconn and ohio st. WHat a great MARCH MADNESS see ya at the Press Box

Funny MGR after watching the Washington game I was gonna post about the same thing you did, but I figured after all my complaining about the Seahawks game nobody wanted to listen to me bitch about refs anymore. Then when I didn't read anything in the paper about the bad calls I figured maybe I have lost it, and it wasn't as bad as it looked.

Thanks to your post I don't think I am completely insane anymore!

BTW, can someone explain this to me: with 3:54 left in regulation Roy was driving to the basket, and was fouled while throwing up an off-balance shot. The ref clearly called for 2 shots. CBS went to a timeout, and when they returned the ref indicated 1 and 1 - of course Roy missed the first shot - the reason it sticks out is because I thought CBS missed the first shot so I rewound and replayed several times to figure out what I missed.

Did the refs review the shot during timeout, and decide he wasn't in shooting motion when the foul occurred? What are the rules for delayed replay in the NCAA anyway? I was also confused how the refs were able earlier in the game to review the tape during a timeout, and re-assign a foul that had occurred several minutes earlier - anybody know the rules on delayed replay in the NCAA - I thought it was just instant replay in the last minute?

UConn deserved to lose and I'm so glad it came at the hands of George Mason.
