Helena griz bar

Anyone know a helena establishment that will be showing the griz/uni game? I will delete this thread after I get some intel. Thanks
 
The Sapphire, Miller's, 702 Club, Brewhouse...just avoid The Overland. Great wings but they're cat fan bastards.
 
It's too bad The Quarry Bar & Grille closed downtown. They had a pretty good Griz gathering for away games.

True, but their food was mediocre at best IMO. Although the new Aster place is like eating in a really expensive cafeteria.
 
I would be interested in finding a steady group of Griz fans and alum in Helena who are interested in watching games a regular place. Bert & Ernies? The Sapphire? Maybe even Millers. Any other ideas?
 
Although it may be sacreligeous to say around helena, I feel like brewhouse food is really sub par. Good atmosphere but mostly just Sysco-type stuff. Was hoping someone around town would have the game because I don't know anyone with directv; millers shoulda like a good option.
 
Let's try millers although I wonder about the TV situation, are they a sports bar or do they just have a few TV's ?

Miller's TVs are pretty limited. Right behind the bar. Born and raised in Helena and as someone else said the sports bar scene is lacking significantly. Bert and Ernies upstairs will be better than Miller's, IMO.
 
Bert & Ernie's upstairs is a good bet, but you might have to get there early to beat the Cat fans because their game starts earlier. I think the Gold Bar on the west end might have some opportunity as well.
 
Bumping this thread, as I'm in Helena last minute this weekend. Any additional suggestions for watching the game tomorrow?

If I lived in Helena, I would bust my butt to be at the game in the grandstands. Barring that, I would love to watch a game at a top sports bar in Missoula.

I'd probably go to Lewis & Clark brewery. Limited food options but good beer and I'm sure it will be on all the televisions.
