I feel like Waded just needs a good hard man in her life. She's at an age where she should be dialing back the intensity a bit and starting to enjoy watching the sun rise while looking out my bedroom window.

Waded. Call me.

Please.

One thing is certain and that is if Choate does not begin to win in the "real season" he will wilt under little Waded's demands for greatness. This will be a fun 3 years to watch.
After the loss of seven Deans, two Head Coaches, and the Athletic Director, a couple of VPs, she knows how to swing an ax; the question being raised over there is, does she have any idea how to aim the axe? One of those swings lost MSU its coveted Carnegie Research ranking.

Huse? Sure. Ash? Well, he had a better record than Bob Stitt at Mines. Fields, having made apparently good picks of Binford, Fish and perhaps Choate might feel a bit resentful. The Deans? Wellll, there's a lot of institutional knowledge there and program continuity, gone, as well as some of the important VPs who knew how to handle budgets and such.

Ash had a losing year, sure, but holy smokes, nuking the football program might not have been a "solution" if it requires rebuilding from somewhere below the basement level. Maybe it was, but there's an interesting pattern developing there at MSU and the Red Queen's "off with their heads" approach to presidentialling.

I think there are a LOT of Griz alumni that wish UM had Waded instead of Rolls Royce.

Someone with Waded's stature would never take a job at missoula city College. That place is an academic dumpster fire.

I guess this is what you want to make up and talk about, because your football program is the real
Dumpster fire. I hope your ignorant comments get you kicked of egriz. It must suck being you.....

Hoy wasn't any way near as highly touted by Cat fans as was Willy Phlug by Griz fans. You guys had Willy up there as the next Joe Namath. Things do change when anew coaching staff comes in.

No no no...kids only leave because new coaches are complete arrogant assholes and not likeable....Sounds like Choate is just a rotten no good human...and now kids are leaving. You guys should know with all the discussion you had on this topic when Stitt came in...or have you forgotten already?

I only know of ONE potentially good player that left the CATS since Choate came on board. How many good, or potentially good players have left the griz under Stitt....... 25 or so?

Tappan gone, Hoy gone, and your recruiting coordinator demoted and soon to be let go....all that in a New York minute with your new coach. Give it time, gonna be a lot more changes. He knows it's not the Xs and Os, and he has a serious case of crappy Johnny and Joes.

Hooked, you are really streching. Didn't Stitt let some players go _ somewhere around 20? Yes, players do leave when a new Coach comes in. It is normal.

Man you guys are not bright. I'll spell it out for you. You are comparing the actions and changes under your coach (who has been the head coach for 10 seconds) to the actions and changes of the Griz coach who has one full year under his belt. Now, give your coach a full year (is what I said when I said give him time) and I think you'll see a lot more changes. A LOT more. Perhaps as much or more than the Griz program.....at least you should hope so if you want your team to be relevant.

No way. I'll bet you any amount of money that Choate doesn't boot over 20 players within the first year. Yes there is always turnover with coaching changes but usually not to that extreme. Bash me all you want. I'm not saying his approach it good\bad or what, but it's not normal. Time will tell. I just can't believe you really had that much dead weight in your program, especially with all the Montana players he booted. Time will tell. Maybe in three years Stiff will be dominating the Big Sky with out of state recruits whereas Choate will be a Big Sky bottom dweller with his focus on Montana players. We'll see.

poorgriz. What team are you referring to that kicked off 20 players? Alabama, Ohio State? I know you're not talking about the Griz cause that would be a flat-out lie, and is slanderous. You think Ryan Burke was booted? Nico Graham? I could go on but I won't bother. So instead, I'll just ask what team you're talking about since Montana hasn't kicked off 20 players.

And I was being sarcastic because when players started leaving the Griz program...everyone on WombatNation was soooooo quick to scream from the mountain tops that it was because Stitt is an asshole...Stitts not a players coach...Stitt is arrogant.....

And now you will all look like fucking fools because its going to be happening with your coed program.

Yep! Only because I don't like to think about it. the QB position will be interesting to say the least this season, Hoy doesn't really fit anymore so, best of luck to him, we'll find someone or live with Bruggman for a season.

After last season, I would think kitty fans would be praying for many of their players to leave. Sorry, but that ain't even middle of the road bsc talent there.

Again, not bright. Show me where Stitt "gave the boot to over 20 players". Name them and tell me about them. I know of about 4-5 who Stitt and the staff had serious discussion with which included an end of year evaluation, what does the future hold, will there be any playing time, do you want to take your talents elsewhere. I think that is a pretty noble thing instead of jerking these kids around. So 4-5 compared to your so-called 20. You're a little off lil bro.

I'm curious how many of those players left for those reasons given(not grades of course, but "retirement" reasons if you will) because they saw the writing on the wall, did not want to play for Stitt, or were told they were going to be cut but were given the opportunity to "leave with their dignity". Kind of the "we're going to let you go, but we'll give you the opportunity to quit on your own so you can save face". I don't know and I'm not saying that is the way it went down, but I am curious if any were.

Agreed. It's gotten pretty embarrassing over there in recent years. It might benefit them to go club team status for a few years to get their feet back under them.

He graduated from MSU and went to grad school at Oregon.

is Ernie Els affiliated with MSU football in any way? He has that special 'something'. An ethereal quality you see with the Cats... Can't put my finger on it...
