Healed up in time for Frisco?

Do we have a healthy Liam Brown for Frisco? I definitely noticed a difference after he left the game. I also noticed he was obviously still hobbled even when he was playing. I fervently wish for him to heal up, and maul some bunnies,

3 weeks off should pretty much get everyone as healthy as they’ve been all year.

We’re actually a very healthy team for this time of year.

He played some Saturday. Got banged up again…hopefully three full weeks to heal up will help him again.

The downside to three weeks off is rust. I have no idea how teams keep at their peak when they have that much time off. Not saying they can't. Just seems like it would be very difficult. And I believe that is one of the problems with playing bowl games (FBS).

Any chance that Grossman will return?

Wouldn’t that be something. But the way Shaefer is playing, he deserves to be playing this game. Loved hearing the stadium when he laid the guy out swinging out the the right heading towards the south end zone.

Mom and EV should be fine. I'm concerned about Ursa Major's mail-order bride and her mother. Even though the furniture can be replaced and there is room now for the vodka in the freezer and soup in the fridge, they still have 9-1 dialed on their phones. That will take more time.

Your guys will be good to go, almost as if it like week 1 of the season all over again. These 3 weeks of no games really make a big difference in how everyone feels (the same goes for SDSU).

The 3 weeks of extra practice reps your 1st and 2nd year guys will be getting, whether it is on scout team or running with the #2's, is huge for player development for following years. You can't replicate that in the weight room or off-season team meetings.

About the only draw back to playing so late is that some of the nagging injury stuff that may require off-season surgery ends up being delayed a month or so. Don't be surprised if Hauck allows more-than-normal amount of the 4th and 5th year guys to sit out spring ball.
