Right. Like there’s so many 6”6 260lb DEs walking around the big sky.
Looks like this guy grew an inch and put on 5# since singing.

He’s going to be massive by the time he gets to Missoula.

Do you have any idea how many 2&3 star players there are out there coming out of HS every year? In JUST Texas the number is something north of 1200. EVERY year. There are a good percentage of those that COULD play and excel at FCS football and aren’t even offered.

Well, they have to go to Missoula Summer Camp or it would be absolutely impossible to assess them.

What do you think? Move a camp date to somewhere in Texas every June. Two birds?

I don’t know if there’s a good answer. Would be cool to establish some more connections where there’s more talent (speaking just raw numbers), though.

That's pretty astounding, but I suppose it makes sense, since defense is a lot more reading and reacting, and so usually only the best athletes are going to be able to do that at the highest level, which is what 4-5 star players are.HelenaHandBasket said:Bruce Feldman

The average star rating of the defensive players on the NFL All-Pro team is 4.5 stars. On offense, it’s just 2.0.
