and i expect that the player's on other teams will take every opportunity they get to mock that 'tougher' mentality being exhibited by a team that has barely made the playoffs but a couple times the last several years, under a coach who was fired from his last head coaching gig after piling up the losses. it isn't going to be hard for opposing coaches to get their own teams feeling some swagger going into the griz game.

You don't have a clue. You don't know what coaches do, and you understand how players think and operate. As if the players will look at what Hauck did at UNLV. Pretty funny. Some will have some level of knowledge of what he did in his last stint at UM, and know that he can back from being at SDS.

ha, like you two have spent the last 2+ decades working in the midst of university students in their 20's, and know all about how they think. hate to break it to you, but it isn't how you want them to, i.e. ignoring the bad/mediocre, and focusing on how the griz played/'swaggered' when they (current players) were 10 years old. they are a little more sophisticated than to only have, as you put it, "knowledge of what he did in his last stint at UM, and know that he can back from being at SDS."

you did get it right when you said that i "understand how players think and operate", though. geezus greenie, it is blatantly obvious why you've been kept away from the courtroom. can't think on your feet, so to speak.

In my last 2 plus decades, I have probably known 100 or um players, some of whom worked for us; scores of Dartmouth players; 100’s of teammates of my kids who played high sports and 3 of whom played in college (including one in football); my nephews who play or played for schools like the Air Force academy, the Griz western, and Dartmouth. And many of their friends. Scores of high school and college coaches, including about 16 coaches in my wife’s family and mine; other relatives who played college football including for the Griz. The sons of my college buddies who play or have
Played college ball. Google. Brian O’Neill of Pitt. Headed to the DJ early. Know he kid and I played with his dad bTell us your exposure to kids and coaches playing sports.

I actually spent the last 10 years of my military career developing 18-22 year olds into leaders as well as coaching football. But you go ahead and keep telling yourself you’ve got the market cornered on how 18-22 year olds think.

and you really think those of the latest generation are going to ignore hauck's time at unlv, etc, and focus on the mentality of his teams 10 years ago(bqm)

gawd you have avoidance issues. Stitt isn’t coming back. Give it up already. The players I’ve talked to, which I promise is a hell of a lot more than you have, were upset that Stitt was fired, to be expected. But they are also very much aware of what Hauck did his last time here and they very much expect that he will do the same thing this time around. Did you read that? It says “expect” not “hope”. Sounds to me like they’ve already started to buy in...maybe you should too.

i think you are both showing your age :)

ain't no way some beefy 20 year old is going to be intimidated by haslem (or greenie) talking about some 'swagger' that existed 10 years ago. quite the opposite.

I'm still focused on this issue....I still get carded half the time I order a beer....F - this.

Arghy, I think my maturity and wisdom have got you confused. Sure, when I order that beer, my son is having one too, but 50 is still far in the distance. Why must you be so cruel on this day before the birth of Christ?

It would be more convenient but I doubt it would help as I’m not sure that even you know what you’re rambling on about. Maybe you should try this:
https://www.umt.edu/writingcenter/
The tutoring would be beneficial to you.

I pray for the day when the "Pretentious" bobcat fans will find something, anything in Bozeman to entertain them and get their fricking noses out of our business. Once and for all! Poor bastards! Go Griz!

He certainly does. And, frankly, I think his question mark works just fine. It’s all about fishing for attention and sympathy.

Yah and was it ever funny? :( NO!!

I 'll give you a little secret pal :) :) Every team ,every year, that plays, the Griz has Montana circled on the calendar. That game is their super bowl regardless of who they are or where they are from? ESPN made sure of that in the 2009 semi's when Montana beat App. State, in the snow bowl game here @ WGS. Montana was given the handle= "The "CROWN JEWEL" of FCS football. Teams can't wait to come to WGS and play in front of 26,000 people. It's the highlight of their college career!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bobby Hauck will only make it a better place, if that is possible? Go Griz! Eat your heart out Bozeman you don't have it and never will !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The measurement of a coaching staff, is not how they begin the season, but how they finish the season. Players improve through experience, repetition, and GOOD COACHING. Go Griz
