It would be easy for anybody to pad their record at UM

I think we had that theory disproved this year.

Not true! Look at Delaney's previous wins per year as a head coach....he kinda did pad his record this year...

Come clean alpha douche(s), how many times did bobby beat you up on the play ground or whip your ass in a game a round ball? Your dislike of him can't be because of how he coached the griz (unless of course you hate winning, if so you must have a woody for Delaney) so it must be something personal....

Either lost his lunch money to him or just loves stirring it up....Bobby has an edge no doubt, but was a very very passionate Griz fan going back to when he was very young. As a Griz coach, He coached and recruited with incredible passion.

From todays Las Vegas Sun:

"Several fans took to Twitter and message boards Saturday to show their displeasure with the coach and program, urging school officials to make a change. But UNLV Athletic Director Jim Livengood has often said Hauck, who is under contract through 2014 season and signed a two-year extension last year, would be given another season. Plus, it’s widely considered UNLV doesn’t have the financial resources to go another direction."

Sound familiar? Like some of you e-Griz posters predict about Delaney in 2013, here's one that ought to get you to laugh, at least: You'll all look silly when BH take his Rebels to the NC game next year.

I think Hauck did a great job as the Coach of The Griz. Look at one thing. Since he left the Griz have made the payoffs one year out of three. That is not too impressive.

BH = 17 losses TOTAL in 7 years.
Griz = 13 losses in THREE years since he left. :?

Yeah, I'd take BH "suckage" in a NY minute right about now.

Brian Kelly could turn UNLV around in 3 years.

:coffee:

actually agree. There are many coaches out there who could turn UNLV around. Look at USU and San Jose State.

Griz fans used to say USU, for example, was a trap and the reason why ex-griz coaches failed there was that is was a bad job doomed to failure. Hmm look at what Anderson has done there over the last two years. Seems a coach can win at USU just not the ex-griz coaches who went there and tried.

Hauck has failed at UNLV. He simply is not good enough at program building to pull it off.

If any of you Hauck lovers would open your eyes, you would realize that it was Bobby who initiated the change in culture of the Griz football program, and it took until now to finally all play out. Hauck knew the time bomb was ticking, which is why he was willing to take the worst job in FBS football just to be gone when the axe fell.

Nope, Hauck didn't initiate any change of culture, as you suggest. You don't know what you're talking about. Hauck was/is a tough disciplinarian. He didn't put up with any BS from players--or anyone else. If you're going to spout BS like this, let's hear you try to back it up.

We will be vindicated because he will lose another NC game.........................:coffee:

Y'all have left off two former Griz coaches that went FBS with out success: Dennehy and Glenn. They didn't build anything(after five and six years, respectively), just maintained the status quo. Why haven't you teed off on them? Its only fair. Or is this something of a personal nature?

Simple, nobody feels the need too because there are not a large group of morons touting those two coaches as the best coach in the world. Its a really easy concept to grasp unless your dumb enough to think he did anything more at Montana but maintain the program.

Glenn won a NC.
Not many fans thought Dennehy was an exceptionally good coach.

More personal attacks? I didn't call you a moron, or dumb. From some of your posts, I know you are capable of a persuasive argument. My position isn't set in stone. Try facts and logic, make your case, if you have one.
Please, take all the time you'd like, organize your post.

Agreed. Facts are facts. Dennehy was a decent, likeable coach, with a series of one and outs in the playoffs.

None of what I posted was directed at you unless you consider yourself close knit to the people it was directed at.

Right. I guess all of the criminals he recruited should just be overlooked. Let's see. There was the curb-stomping he covered up, the 3 arrested as they left the team bus, the player who murdered another guy. But, he was a real tough disciplinarian. He took every other team's cast-off criminals. Face the facts.

Why don't you tell us how many total quarters of suspension these players got for their activities? Most coaches would have removed them from the team.
