Becker, I was saying Hauck did not leave the cupboard bare at all. Pflu would not have had enough time to recruit "his" players to make the semis in his second year. He did it with a roster full of Hauck recruits. Gawd, I miss the Hauck days of Griz dominance. I wonder if we could trade AG1 for Bobby Hauck?

I'm guessing most Griz fans would welcome him back. Even those who didn't like Hauck much would probably welcome him back... Fact is, he won games..and lots of them. He was a hell of a coach.

When we had a down year under Hauck, it meant an early exit in the Playoffs. There were no excuses of cupboards being bare, or it being a rebuilding year... The saying "The Griz don't rebuild, we reload" was true, and every team knew every year the Griz would be one of, if not THE toughest game on their schedule.

Now we finish tied for 9th in the conference with UC-Davis, below Northern Colorado?! :wtf: And in the final game of the season, we are told by the head guy that the Griz played about as well as they could.... :?

Here's an interesting little fact. Under Hauck we lost a total of 2 regular season home games in his 7 years here. We were 42-2 at home in the regular season. This year we were 3-3. In conference we were 47-6 under Hauck in 7 years. This year we were 3-5.

I love the talk though from some people about how Hauck couldn't win the "big one". They seem to be forgetting that in order to have a chance to win the big one, you have to actually make the playoffs and win a good number of those pesky regular season games.

Cant win the Big One when you finish 9th in conference with a losing record.

Yup, 13 losses since BH left......but ask griz-o-matic, he would argue how bad bobby is becasue he has at least twice that at UNLV.

Becker, I did not take it a sarcastic at all but thought my statement may have been misunderstood. As far as Coach Hauck not being able to win the championship goes, there is only one way to have a chance to do so and that is to make the championship game. He did that and did it often.

yes sir, Great coaches lose title games every single season. Les miles last year, chip kelly before that, i could go on but i dont need too. Of course as fans we want titles, but its silly to say the coach cant coach because he continues to post 14-2 seasons and lose in the chipper. The teams we played in the chipper were pretty damn good and had some pretty good players and were also out there to win!

We find it funny that when other people post the posts seem angry or sexist or political but rarely all in one post so its easy to figure out who is doing the posting. The other funny thing is the phone calls with the real AG1 and how we customize posts. Hell sometimes the emails go back and forth a dozen times with each person adding or deleting things that may or may not work once the post is certified AG worthy it is cut and pasted.

Believe what you want but you all have been played for years.

If any of you had any idea how much work goes into this you would find it almost as sad and pathetic as we do but its just to much fun too watch you morons twist in the wind.
