Hey, Mr. Idealist, write your check unbribed. Do you want them to take back the money for the Champion's Center? It never would have happened on the taxpayer's dime. The shortfall number is the one that has been reported by the media.
If I had the money. I would gladly donate with NO EXPECTATIONS. First I would donate to academics, and then athletics. Would be nice to have millions laying around. I donate plenty as alumni as the school I graduated from. The shortfall number wasn't 600 MILLION....can't remember what it was off hand, but I know you probably just did a typo there.
