Hauck would beat Liberty

And Custer would have survived the Battle of the Little Big Horn if it hadn't been for that damned arrow shirt...zzzzzzzz

This is like the travel to JMU game when we best the #1 team in the playoffs. Hauck found a way to win with soild fundamentals, ball control and getting more from his players. Coach Hauck was not big on gimmicky but big on wins. I have a feeling that after Saturday a lot of people will catch up to what others already know that we should have hired Hauck back. Losing to teams like Liberty is pure poppycock plain and simple.

I think a big factor in that game was that the starting QB for JMU went down.

The Griz will beat Liberty, just as long as we don't have more than one pass play where the QB throws a corner when the receiver is running a post.

This cracks me up, because you use to trash on Hauck for not winning it all.

Funny things occur when big g posts a thread. And that is Atlanta1 goes into hiding.

But football brings out the least in some of us.

Note the trolls don't like playing with either of the above mentioned and so it goes.....

Coach Hauck is the best football coach Montana ever had and I have always been a fan of winning games, nobody did it better than Coach Hauck. Best move O'Day ever did was hire Coach Hauck

Did you withhold your profit from wheat futures contribution to the athletic dept when Hauck was not hired?

Yes I have had talks with Haslem about correcting his mistakes in the future

Could we just ban Bobbie Hauck threads altogether? He is SO last decade, and long gone.

FWIW: I see that he's Special Teams Coordinator for San Diego State ... a job we know he is good at. The data is hard to find, but it looks like he is making more money (aside from outside perks) as STC at SDSU than he did as head coach at UM. So get over hit!

Bobby won games. The parts of coaching that has to do with discipline he really was not so good at. If you have to discipline a lot and repeatedly what you are doing is not working and his teams were gradually sliding and had major issues. That is a number one rule of teaching and coaching. So he was not the best coach. I am friends with Bobby and Jim. Bobby actually set the stage that led to Jim and Robin getting fired. If you do not know what I am talking about then you are not as much in the know as you claim to be. Also, if you used withholding money as a threat or a pout (as has been suggested) then that does not say positive things about you. Making money is easy. Running multiple national level businesses is hard. Lasting in college coaching is really difficult. I managed to do all three. We do not need to live in the past but move to the present whether us old timers want to or not.

This saturdays game is further proof to add to the woodpile of reasons we should have re hired Coach Hauck.

Outside of the JMU road game what was Hauck's road record when heading east?

(it wasn't pretty)
one more than Stitt, losing to teams like Liberty is pure poppycock plain and simple.
