So what is it with Hauck and very average drop downs over the QBs he recruits? Only Berquist developed into arguably the best QB he has had at UM.

Why does he get a pass for an entire decade+ of recruiting QBs and only having one pan out? He's had talent at the position but doesn't put in playmakers he puts in game managers and we all have watched 11 years of how that has worked out for him.

It's amazing the God like worship of this guy when all he has done is fail time and time again and again and again.

Ummmm….These very average drop downs all made playoff runs and have a combined 115 wins to 33 loses.

Maybe try to find another example in your attempt to bash Hauck. You can always go after his press conferences.

Bergquist started most of the year in 2005. Ochs is one of the best to ever play at UM.

How old are you? Are you out of high school yet? You are making a fool of yourself.

Honestly, looking at that list I feel like the issue is injuries and not failures. Shit happens sometimes but we have had a run of bad luck at the position.

Mark Twain once said, "Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience."

Don Read once said that had Ochs had the OL that DD had in the 90's that it would be his number retired. He was that good. He not only had the Griz team into the NC game against JMU, but had a good lead the undersized D was unable to sustain.

Having an undersized D is never a good thing.

Instead of attacking the OP, consider his premise: In Hauck’s 2nd stint here, 5 consecutive transfers as starting QB’s. Five years to recruit and develop a HS QB and he’s been unable to do so. Why?

I don't think it matters where the QB comes from, but what is apparent is that they have lacked a second option the past two seasons. I think the main issue is that they failed to move on from Brown. This years team would have been better if they did so after last season. I don't think it is a wholesale failure, but one big mistake that left a gapping hole.

100% agree. I honestly thought that decision was made in the JMU game and we wouldn’t be in this position this year, but apparently it wasn’t.
