Hauck jas Earned a Contract

At 9-1 Hauck has earned a new contract. Get him signed - Go Griz!!

He deserves it plus the young guns on this team are studs and the dudes coming on next year seem big time also

I'm quite happy to be proven wrong and to eat crow about the coaching staff overall, this season is night and day different from the NAU game until now. I still have a little concern about the Offense at times but outside of that wouldn't mind Hauk coming back at all.

Hauck is going nowhere, except maybe up if he wants to try that route again. He'll get a nice pay bump when the next contract is drawn up. I like his style, basically didn't flinch when nearly everyone panicked in Griz Nation after one upset on the road.

I wouldn't say he panicked, but benching Vidlak for McDowell and taking the redshirt off of Ah Yat could certainly be considered a "flinch."

Hauck didn't take the redshirt off of Ah Yat. He will not lose his redshirt status as he will have only played in four games by the end of the regular season (if he plays at all against the Cats).

He didn’t take the redshirt off Ah Yat. Freshman can play up to four games during the regular season and all of the playoffs their true freshman year and maintain their redshirt. Ah Yahtzee is still a redshirt

I have a lot of tolerance for typos and "auto-corrections" on forum posts, but you gotta get it right on the thread title. It would do my heart good if the OP could reach back and tweak this into conformity? Thanks!

Hey, so has Hauck signed an extension yet? Would that typically be signed after all games are played, unlike everywhere else in the high levels of the sport?

Seeing all the retirements getting earlier, like Bohl (65) and Hawkins (63) and Hoke (65), and the monkey's paw curling for NDSU after calling for Entz' head only for him to leave for SC, I just wonder if maybe thats what Bobby has planned here. He's 59, so I could see a few more left but I'm thinking this might be the Big thing in the room to consider going forward.
