Sounds like, Hauck isn't going to have reigns on his DC job. Kind of ironic, considering I've heard how involved he was in every aspect of each coach. I wish him well. I'll root for Illinois, except against Nebraska.
On the bright side, I'm looking forward to BK being more hands off with his staff. I think that will benefit GRIZ Football.

This is what I was thinking as well. Sounds like Bobby was doing almost everything which is probably why the addition of NIL made the HC position unbearable for him.
If you hire someone, let them cook. Perform the necessary oversight but don't get involved in the minutiae. That's what Coach Read and Coach Glenn did and it worked out really well for them.
Most of Skalkaho creek is accessible on public land and yes good fishing. But if you go a bit north you can access Gird Creek, really fun.
