Hauck Announces 3-QB System for 2025

The Montana Grizzlies Fan Page on Facebook did one this morning saying that this season Wa-Griz was gonna start selling alcohol at the concession stands and you could bring it back to your seats. It was hilarious reading the comments.

I had just finished going through (mostly deleting) e-mail, and was not totally attuned to what day it was. I then clicked over to eGriz.

I saw the title and was half-a-heartbeat into “That’s not going … ” when I realized I’d been suckered into a “made you look” moment. I will say, I didn’t click on the thread until I saw that there had been several replies.

All great stuff: One must appreciate “good art.”

It happens!

I mean, it's not really that far-fetched of an idea as to why it's good click-bait.

Precedence of Hauck's staff using at least 2 QBs as well as having a WR that has already had experience running special wildcat packages (Wortham).

I remember reading something in SI 20 years ago about some high school in California that was actively running a system with 2 QBs on the field at once. No way to know which QB was taking the snap or making the pass. I haven't really looked since, but I guess that offensive system never caught on.

Not to mention that the scats did pretty good with a non-QB system. Of course they may have had the best non-QB in the league too.

They do this at the University of Minnesota. Why not at Montana?
