Haslam have Bobby on the phone yet?

I can't even imagine anyone being unsatisfied with or unsupportive of Bobby with his most recent success and sincere, kind, magnetic personality.

Hauck came back to UM and turned the program around after a year. Two top 10 finishes and a 14th (including 2 tough losses to good teams without our good no. 1 qb). Hauck is a terrific guy, with a very good personality, and with lots of friends. Almost everyone in the qb club likes and enjoys him. The players like him, or almost all of them do. You don't have a clue, and are a bunch of hot air.

Mines has been far better since he left.

Stitt 110-62 (.640)
Since 72-18 (.800)

Fair point. What was Mines’ record before he took over?

Versus Wallace 11-41 .212
Marvin L Kay 84-157-6. .340

Stitt turned the program around after his first season which was 2-8.

No clue? Full of hot air? Harsh words considering the praise I'm continually giving Bobby. Much like the Montana State folks I couldn't be more supportive of the Bobby 2.0 tour. I think he should be given as much time as he feels is necessary to bring the storied Griz program back to the elite level it justly deserves. I'm very satisfied and very supportive of the direction of the program. And, I'm not a bit surprised to hear that he is still a terrific guy and his wonderful personality has brought him lots of friends and that most of his players like him. Good stuff.

The reality is that there a lot of boosters and QB Club members that are far from satisfied with Bobby's recent performance. The fact is that Bobby set a standard for himself that he simply hasn't lived up to. There is also a growing sense of dissatisfaction with Haslam (as there should be). With another season like the last one, the drum beat will be very hard to ignore.

Let's be truthful about the majority of people who belong to the QB Club. Most just want to be included in the group who get close to the coaching staff, so they can brag being buddies with Hauck and having "inside info" during their weekly poker parties. As long as Bobby and his assistants know their names and say hello, that's all they need to be satiated.

As long as the Griz win 2/3 of their games and go to the playoffs, I will support whoever the coach is. Larry Donovan was the coach when I attended UM and I learned to appreciate what fan despair really feels like.

BH is an outstanding coach and attracts excellent assistant coaches. He cares about UM. He has been successful here. Give it a break. The team has talent and we’ll see quality games played by dedicated student athletes. The Griz will win games. There are too many whining, fair weather fans on eGriz.

I'll send you your participation trophy. Oh, and I'll using overnight shipping.

Get lost. I seriously doubt you are an alum of UM.

How many playoff games has SS ever won? How many times has SS won the conference and been seeded, and then couldn't win a playoff game? That is some kind of success. You are welcome to it.

I’m in QB Club. Did you take a survey and overlook me? My opinion is not necessarily in conflict with your assertion, but I challenge it simply because I think you’re winging it.

Hoops...please try to keep your old addled mind on target. This thread has nothing to do with the SAC playoff record. We are trying to focus on what a wonderful, warm, caring and popular human Bobby is and how well his most recent BH 2.0 campaign is going. I'm sure it's difficult for you but please try to focus and stay on topic.

Those questions were already answered above. Hauck is a great guy and is doing quite well in bringing UM back from being out of the top 30. The next question is why does SS underperform so badly in the playoffs. After that question is answered, the next will be: how back will SS suck in football and one or more of the basketballs next season? I can see that you can only handle one half of a thing at a time, but try to keep up a bit more.

Maybe your wife could slowly read the posts to you and help you formulate an answer that is somewhere in the realm of this thread. I'm still wondering how you can keep you can keep saying the Griz program is in great shape when in the last three seasons it is 1-5 vs. their little brother and the lowly Sac State program. Not sure how Sac States playoff record has anything to do with that question but it seems that is all you can ever come up with so keep beating that mule. And please don't blame Bobby. He's a fine upstanding gentleman and I'm sure he's putting forth his best effort and getting the absolute highest level of success that the Griz program is capable of attaining at this point in time.

BH is 8-3 against SacSt and 6-5 against MSU. We all tip our hat to your windfall of having Taylor fall in your lap, but this just in, he's gone on to bigger places. The SacSt history as a BSC doormat could easily be returned, so I would not be so c0cky over 3 seasons.

Who said the program is in great shape? It's in very good shape and Hauck has brought the program back fast, from being out of the top 30 and not making the playoffs. UM is 1-1 against the Cats in the past 2 years and has won playoff games 3 years in a row. Yes, the Cats have done better in recent years in the playoffs. SS has sucked in the playoffs. SS is a big disappointment. You are a big mouth who doesn't know what's he's talking about. Really, just a troll. Hauck is very popular with the most of the large and significant supporters of the program.

Hey...if you two are good with Bobby being 1-5 against Sac State and Montana State the last three years and think the program is in very good shape then I'm good with it. I guess my expectations for the Griz are just a bit higher than yours.

5 games don't define a program or its success, unless they are playoff games. All of SS's playoff losses do in fact define your program. If you are fine with SS's playoff success, that's fine with me.

Yeesh, can you imagine if folks are like they are now back when Don Read was coaching? He might not have ever made to his dominant years if the folks that consistently squawk have their way.
This!!!

Hoops you are pathetically predictable. And those five games have without question define the current state of Griz football.
Only for you. When SacSt returns to its traditional role at the bottom of the BSC, this guy will disappear.

He's not a hornet fan.

It's unrealistic to think SAC could continue the level of success (three BSC Championships in a row, undefeated on the road vs FBS competition, three victories in a row vs Griz) they have attained the last three years. Not even Taylor could expect all of those achievements to continue, but to think/predict the bottom will fall out with his departure is somewhere between wishful thinking and ignorance. It's the kind of response I would expect from Hoops. Thompson has proven himself to be a quality leader and it's only reasonable to expect SAC to continue to play at a high level and improve their performance in the playoffs.
