When he entered the transfer portal he said he had 2 years of eligibility. So my guess is hes coming back.

Eligibility Frozen: The 2020 season did not count towards a player's standard five-year eligibility clock.

If this is true and the transfer portal doesn't claim him, UM just got a great one for another season!
