The poster who made that horrid comment toward her had the call to send me a PM on here calling me the a-hole for calling him out on his BS.
I don't agree with much of her reporting style and I believe she is fairly biased in her articles, however as I've said on here and to others when people take the message to that level that Special K/Steve Dill did then you totally ruin any chance at a sensible debate. There's disagreement over content, and then there's what Steve posted which made me sick.

Folks, with Gwenny you don't have to be rude and vulgar to make your point. For example:

See how easy that is. And I guarantee you that if you just keep your comments truthful your message will resonate better and she will never have the courage to actually post truthful information like that to her "followers" on facebook.

I was disappointed to see the post regarding Ms. Florio and found it in poor taste.
That said, I will absolutely call her what she is: a horrible and jaded journalist, one who has made this issue -- which is destroying lives and wrenching families -- about her. Consequently, I believe she is a terrible person, one who puts their "professional" success ahead of values like honesty, fairness and campassion. She will never, ever have my respect.
Post that on your FB page, Ms. Florio. I'd be curious what the responses are to it.

Through all this BS, I have refused to enter the fray, but this FB post is the last straw for me.
Its time to ask a question: how in the hell did she wind up here?? Or, more importantly, how has she been allowed to stay (I'm looking at you Sherry). The paper that has allowed her to float her one-sided perspective is now fully complicit in perpetuating the garbage that now transcends what they print.
Gwen has now used her FB sycophants to belittle a HUGE group of people that might not have previously disregarded ANY article bearing her name. And she has now made this, ironically, very specific through her ambiguous insinuations that contextualize an entire group as misogynist.

Before 2012, Gwen Florio would not even get any attention from me. Now, her name is automatically prefaced by another word, when put together: F*CK GWEN FLORIO!!!

Her unprofessionalism and faux-victimhood is disgusting. She is the most biased reporter I have ever read in my 50 years on this earth. Does name calling fix anything? No it shouldn't be done. But the fact that she not only continues to have a forum that few others have is bad enough, but she is given awards for substandard journalism. I believe this is what has frustrated and angered so many. She is not an intellectual, nor is she even attempting to be objective in anything she has written about this trial. Despite her marriage, she appears to be a man hater at best. Only her sycophants continue to blindly support her at this point as she takes her employer off the cliff and will soon plunge herself and her colleagues into the ranks of the unemployed.
P.S. I know she doesn't have the honesty to post this on her FB page has she has no answer for its damning truth.

Man that is Florio'ed up. If she reads this, and has an open mind, maybe she will learn part of her job is to report 2 sides to her stories, not just her agenda. Granted, I do not agree with many of the names people resort to here. Got to admit though, her lack of professionalism is what brought this on. She is the sole reason why, I stay away from the Missoulian, and many people I know do the same .
Her tabloid journalism does not belong in Montana. She has all the rights in the world to choose how she wants to write. If, she should choose to continue her biased tabloid rag B S then maybe she should find another employer in another area where the readers actually like her kind of B S articles.
Note to the Missoulian until she is gone, I know many people who refuse to read your rag. So sad, she has turned the Missoulian into what it has become.

Of course, it was Florio that publicly denounced her critics, using the Director of the local YWCA as her personal sock-puppet, in something carried on the news pages as a "news item" as living in "a testosterone-soaked universe."

If you want to make your disatisfaction known, make it to Missoulian advertisers. Walk into their place of business, tell them you won't be doing business with them, and why.
