I'll say this. Over on bcn there are no griz fans badmouthing the cats as they make a playoff run yet cats are forever over here spewing. I'll admit we have a difficult year but to equate that to a sorry program is a bit out of line CatFan 22. Go enjoy the success of your program and quit lying about ours.
well you can't really blame him. i imagine there would be a few egriz posters over on their board if one of theirs was saying the same thing.

After decades of ass beatings some of them have a lot of saved up anger and aggression they have to let out.

It's like the little brother who grows up to be bigger than the big brother, so he can finally kick his ass. Except in this case the big brother was in a Cadillac accident, and now the little brother is hovering over the hospital bed talking shit.

Little brother knows though... once the Griz have recovered from their accident, the beatings will start again :)

This of course doesn't apply to all cat fans over here. There are some that don't lie out of their ass about things they know nothing about (ilovethecats, wbtfg, etc etc).

Exactly. I find it funny that the people that complain about how one fan base acts usually act the same way, they just don't realize it.

Oh, so I'm lying about their program like the multiple posts from cat fans claiming they know the NCAA punishment? Where did I post anything like that?

I'll wait for the two of you to dig through my post history on here and BCN to find anything like that. Get back to me with your results... :finger:

The pathetic part of it is what msu coaches are saying to Brekke. Touting one's own school is one thing, but lying about things at UM they know NOTHING about is pretty BS. msu coaches are telling Brekke that UM is going to have major NCAA sanctions. Ok scat fan, tell me how doing that is OK.

Whatever makes you sleep at night. You need to look at your own team. Your coaches have had this technique down to a T for years.

Name ONE coach that ever said msu is facing majpr NCAA sanctions! The fact is Montana kids want to come to UM because they actually like to compete for championships. Oh yeah, you had a better record THIS year, let's examine the last 25 dipwad.

The whiny bitch hath graced us again!
I never said your coaches were talking about sanctions. I can go on all day about Pflu and co. and their recruiting tactics. Nothing will come of this just like nothing came of that. Keep digging for more bs to make you feel better about your sorry program and your even sorrier ass.

Ok interent tough guy

Perhaps UM coaches should tell prospective recruits that likelyhood of being murdered by another student athlete is lower at UM than msu. After all they would be stating a fact.

Don't restrict your reference to athletes. Former or current students accounted for three murders on or off the MSU campus in the not too distant past: Kramer's former player dusting a accounts receivable delinquent, and the kid who had nothing to do with athletics splattering two in Langford Hall. Have I forgotten any?

Glad to see the cat/griz rivalry is still full blown. How many of these problem players at either school were Montana natives??? I think it is great that the athlete of his caliber has the opportunity to play for either top-notch program in the state. I think both schools need more home grown talent. The kid has to decide where he thinks he is more comfortable at, and remember nothing is for sure until the pen hits the paper. Osweiller committed to play basketball at Gonzaga but ended-up playing football at Arizona State, do you think he regrets his decision? He is probably happy learning the NFL way of life from Payton Manning.

Let's get back to the title of the thread.....

Congratulations to Gunnar!! He is a great kid and a stud athlete. I hope the Griz get him, but I really hope he picks the best fit for him.

The pathetic part is most of it is True about Montana's program. Don't quote me but I'm pretty sure that Brekke knows about the burning dumpster fire/mess UM is already in. I don't think he needs an MSU coach to tell him that. It's been all over the papers/state for the past year.

I know if I was a recruit with the pending sanctions coming and an interrim tagged head coach I would have BIG doubts on signing with them.

Pretty Sure most Griz recruits are going to hear about "Pending Sanctions" from here until signing day, whether true or not, it will be brought up, its part of recruiting...and not just by MSU if they even did so...

I think "possible sanctions" or "probable sanctions" would be a more accurate way of describing the situation. "Pending sanctions" sounds to me like it's all done and settled, and I honestly don't believe that is the case.

Yeah it is interesting it is taking so long that is for sure. I think they should have to do that in a reasonable time frame so the University can try and fix it and move on! The investigation has been going on way to long in my opinion. It is almost like they are waiting for the JJ case to be finished up first.

At the close of an investigation, the NCAA typically announces it's findings. Then the school is given an opportunity to respond. After that, the NCAA will announce any penalties or sanctions.

My gawd you continue to suck at this. You are not even a slightly interesting or entertaining troll.
would be a very bad decision to move to MSU next year, because you know once DMAC is gone, so is the big Winning Streak. That boy is the team. No Dmac, no team, same ol' Boozo sCats. So, if he goes else where, much respect, but if he goes to Boozo' itll be one regretfull choice... Go Griz!!!

Our redshirt QB was named the top fcs high school recruit by a national publication last february.

So we got that going for us, which is nice.

Similar story from MSU fans from the post-Lulay era ~ Deja Vu 2006. 'Ohhhh, we won't miss TravisLulay very much because we have Cory Carpanter and Jack Rolavich to be QB.'

similar to every fanbase discussing upcoming recruits and seasons. would you like me to dig up the prediction thread of the griz record this season as you guys "wouldn't miss a beat" and don't "rebuild", just "reload". want me to find the countless threads discussing griz recruits that would be "scary good" and never made an impact? or for fun should we just keep talking about msu fans and pretend they are the only ones who have ever had high expectations for recruits that were never met?

that said....i don't remember jack or carpenter being named the top fcs recruit in the nation but i easily could have missed that.

go ahead Mr. miss-the-point cat, try to find a quote where I said 'jack or carpenter being named the top fcs recruit in the nation' .

I'll try to make it simple and straightforward; I respect MSU but you can do the research over the last 15-20 years and find out that MSU quarterbacks other than T.Lulay and DMac have a very low winning percentage against UM.

not missing any point PGM. you said what wbtfg said was similar to what you've been hearing forever. i pointed out that while that is true it goes both ways which you don't seem to believe. my point is that it doesn't matter at all. no bobcat team has had much success against the griz in like 30 years. does that mean anything currently? it didn't stop us from beating you this year. the griz hammered everyone including the cats for two decades. did that help you this season?

i understand in light of where the griz currently are at why 15-20 years ago is still relevent. my point is i don't think it matters. this isn't to say this qb we are discussing is going to be the best to ever play for the cats. he might not work out at all. but if he doesn't....it will have nothing to do with travis lulay, denarius mcghee, or winning percentage against the griz the last 20 years, or anything else.....

and while we're splitting hairs....i never said YOU said that about jack or carpenter. just said if you heard similar things to what wbtfg said...maybe someone was saying that.
