They usually try go with somebody who is an alum and is a very recognizable face that people across the country know. That list basically boils down to JK Simmons and Jeff Ament. I think Ament is a tremendous ambassador for the University and the state, and he would be more than happy to do it. However, I don't think he's as recognizable as JK Simmons and I think Simmons would do a very nice job as well. I'm fine with either.
