Guessing at depth chart

A quick stab at the starting 5 and the bench pecking order. Obviously we will see a lot of combinations this year depending on the strategies and match ups of our opponents. I see these 5 starting most games but I'm guessing Wright will play more mins then some of these guys, especially on nights when he has a hot hand.

1. #1 Mario Dunn Sr 6'0" 185
2. #14 Ahmaad Rorie RSo 6'1" 175
3. #0 Michael Oguine So 6'2" 171
4. #34 Brandon Gfeller Sr 6'4" 189
5. #20 Fabijan Krslovic Jr 6'8" 239
-------------------------------------------
6. #5 Walter Wright Sr 5'10" 161
7. #4 Sayeed Pridgett Fr 6'5" 195
8. #31 Jack Lopez Sr 6'5" 208
9. #10 Alphonso Anderson Fr 6'6" 218
10. #24 Bobby Moorehead So 6'7" 182
11. #30 Gavin DeJong RSo 6'6" 215
12. #33 Jared Samuelson RFr 6'7" 213
13. ?

I'm guessing Dorsey and Akoh have to sit and redshirt this year which will leave us very thin (and short) down low but will also leave us stacked for 2017. I beleive it's also true we are only allowed 13 on the active roster and minus our two transfers leaves us with 14 ready to suit up. I'm guessing that leaves out Misipeka-Ward or Spoja. AM-W is far more seasoned (GoGriz has him as a Sr but I believe he should be a RSJr) but I think Spoja might be a better athlete. Regardless, neither will see much of the court anyway.

In-actives ?
PG A Misipeka-Ward RJr 6'2" 198
SG Trevor Spoja RFr 6'3" 164

Transfer
SF Donaven Dorsey Jr 6'7" 214
PF Jamar Akoh Jr 6'8" 253

2017's lineup will also be very exciting. Our four Sr's will be hard to replace but the way TD has been recruiting, I'm guessing we won't miss them too long, at least on the court anyway. We should be getting one more verbal later in the year probably and it will most likely be a PG, that being our biggest need to replace.

Verbals for 2017
SG Timmy Falls 6'2"
PF Karl Nicholas 6'7"

2017
1 Sayeed Pridgett So
2 Ahmaad Rorie RJr
3 Michael Oguine Jr
4 Donaven Dorsey Jr
5 Fabijan Krslovic Sr
-------------------------
6 Bobby Moorehead Jr
7 Alphonso Anderson So
8 Timmy Falls Fr
9 Gavin DeJong RJr
10 Jamar Akoh Jr
11 Karl Nicholas Fr
12 Jared Samuelson RSo
13 Trevor Spoja RSo
14 A Misipeka-Ward RSr

Note there are six Jr's which will leave us pretty stacked for the next two years after this year and then, assuming the Griz and TD will be pretty successful and hoping he will still be here, he will have an amazing recruiting class for the 2019 season. Man it's an exciting time to be a Grizzly!

Nice write-up. Not to be too down on the guy, because I REALLY hope he bounces back this year, but if Gfellar can't find the bottom of the net more often this year, I think Jack gets the start and possibly Moorehead as well dependng on how he comes along.

I like Moorehead and in my opinion he has a strong chance to beat out Gfeller for a starting position. Gfeller is great when "on" but was too often not "on" last year. He is going to have to shoot really well to justify not playing the bigger player, Moorehead, who plays pretty good defense as well as good offense and made some threes last year as well.
