Braxton Hill is signed as free agent for next season there too. Former Griz, Craig Dickenson, the former head coach, has moved on and is working with Dave at Calgary. I'd guess Braxton talked up Gubner.

I have a hunch given Gub's size and speed that an NFL team in a year or two will be giving Gubs another look. Good luck to him in Sask./Canada !!!
