Oguine and Rorie and Kriskovic and the coach showed up after what had to be a painful loss for them. They gained stature and maintained a maturity many could not. Different styles of coaching, I guess.

no, but in this case, nearly so. The basketball team lost a game they felt they could win, even though Michigan was an overwhelming favorite. The obviously felt the pain of losing. Yesterday, UM lost to a team they obviously felt, at least judging from this site and others, that was not even close to being competitive. They learned a good lesson and were probably embarrassed. Michigan was a good team, Portland State? But, life is like that. I am certain they won't be underestimating anyone for the remainder of this year.
