5-10***** at least

Assuming it's working effectively against the particular opponent and their defense? Or no matter what just because? What if the running game is extremely effective against a particular opponent and is winning the game. Would you prefer the coaches abandon what is working in order to get so and so a predetermined number of throws?

If he catches 4 balls a game thats 44 to 48 receptions.... I'll take it

Well if he is being thrown to 10 times a games and only catches 4 that is a losing recipe so I'm not following the logic. Big Grossman fan, btw, but my question was more about the fact that i want our coaches to avoid stubborn play calling when something isn't working. I expect some games Grossman will get alot of touches and some he won't, based on several factors.

Yes, if you are running the ball successfully, then that is the perfect time to work in a tight end route as the linebackers and safeties are keyed in to the run. Play action to the tight end sounds like an absolutely great thing to mix in when the run game is working. Even when the running game is extremely effective, you cannot just run the ball every single play.

Again was referring to the predetermined amount of touches concept versus reacting to what the defense gives you. Obviously not saying Grossman shouldn't get the ball thrown to him. And he will.
