Grizzly Team Unity

Last night I went to watch the new basketball movie "Coach Carter," and walking in I was given a great suprise. I saw that for the most part, the majority of the girz men's bball team was in the theatre watching the movie as a single unit. In an extremely busy time for these young men, it was great to see them put all things aside for a couple hours and come together as a team. After a tough setback, this was a gesture to show that through thick and thin these men are buying into something bigger than themselves. It reminded me of what I use to do as a player many years ago, our team would cram into someone's basement and watch "Hoosier's" to get the team's collective moter reved up for a big district rivalry game. Go Griz!

Extremely busy time??? Exactly how many of the players are taking intersession classes?

I would assume that this is pretty much a dead time in their season, and that they're searching for something to do.

I saw the movie Coach Carter and thought it was quite good. Glad to see that Griz BB players are going to see it. It would be nice if Coach Krysko saw it as well. He might learn a few things, like requiring the players to hit 50 free throws during each practice. Griz free throw percentage is bad, and could be improved greatly with practice.

GrizRanger:The NCAA only gives you so much time to practice. The way the Griz shoot Free throws they may not get anything else in. :D (Darn now I sound like Wildrat)
