Why are the Cats running the ball?

I've been wondering this all afternoon, but I'm certainly not complaining :thumb:
Why would the Griz take knee after an interception and only a few seconds left? Their season is over, they are fighting for pride, nothing to lose...So typical of this coaching staff.....
There was only 10 seconds left. Plus, we get the ball back at half.

Running it out with 1:40 to go earlier in the year was unacceptable.

This one, I think it's okay. Bobby and Pflu used to do this all the time.

Whoever the announcer is on Go Griz he talks too much and never brings up the score...

I agree. Have never heard him before, but not impressed so far. I can't tell what's going on.
Very, very hard to follow..sounds like two guys in a booth shooting the bull...annoying.

The color guy is groaning and making other weird sounds reacting to what's going on. The UM AD needs to dump these guys and get a couple of pros. Montana football deserves it.

Seriously! They make a mistake and give points to the Cats and you would be the first one complaining about that too.

You gotta take a knee there. The percentage of things going bad is way higher then anything good happening.

I have no problem taking a knee there. The defense kept points off the board before the half, so you gotta take it to the locker room and get ready for the second half.

So I see we have opened up the play book today. We now have 3 plays....that we run over and over and over and over and over and over.....TRICK PLAY.....back to same 3 plays over and over and over and over and over....

You must not know much about football. Good Grief... chances of scoring from inside your 10 yard line with less 0:10 left in half is near zero. Go back to playing NCAA13 on your play station.

It is McKinney or Brescek time!!!!!!!!!
I'd like to see what McKinney can do.

I don't think the Cats D could stop our rushing if he were playing.

Give McKinney a shot to see what he can do for sure. The offense kind of sputtered after the first few drives, and he could give a needed spark to get things going again.

That has happened all season long no matter who was the QB

No, not really. I recognize that when you are the underdog, you have to take chances..and the Griz defense would not allow a one second td...sorry to disappoint you.

Personally I think we need to throw downfield a bit on first down. Try to open things up. They're stacking the box against the run and just man handling our line in first down.

You are assuming that the Griz defense would be on the field.

They did not have a losing season on the line playing their final game of the year against a better team.

I am beginning to think we do not have a play action pass in the book. Frustrating given the cats seemed determined to stop the rushing attack.
