GRIZ/Wolfpack thread

While I have not seen the Griz play this year, it is no surprise to me that they are struggling with their shooting. I did not see any returning players that were great shooters, like Johnson and Criswell type shooters. I wonder why so many of you keep saying that they have the talent, but are not executing.

At some point, potential much evolve into productivity. How long is a reasonable time to wait?

As I have said all season, the Griz lack of an inside game will render them to an average status this season.

I see your hero Adras got his ass fired. Why don't you go show us how it is done you little prick? You keep telling us you were a big time coach, refererr, millionaire, war hero, blah blah blah blah blah. Of course everyone who knows you knows you are nothing but a short old stupid chicken shit who runs out the back door when someone calls you on your shit. you are the epitome of a tool :loser:

Didn't realize the Christmas early-release program at Warm Springs was in effect already.

Wow! What has happened to UM basketball? They have not scored in 6 minutes, not even a foul shot, at home, against a poor team......and to top it off, there is no audio, no radio, nada.....UM bball is approaching official meltdown....the U is not even interested in it or they would promote it, or, at best, offer a way to view and hear......hard to stay interested when the players themselves appear not ready to play.....

Why don't you find Growler1 and hump him silly..

Nevada beat an extremely talented NCAA bound Washington team last week. You & Growler honestly don't know jack about hoops. Griz could win conference and host the tourney and at this point after the Beavers, & ND losses this one doesn't jeopardize the season one iota

you best stop before I tell the Elders about you.....Nevada is not a good team..it is average in the West in a very down year....What does that say about UM? As it turns out, San Diego is also not so great and Long Beach might play tough, but they are now below .500.....

As I have stated, I have forgotten more about the game of BB than you will ever know.

No, I just hate Mormons and cults in general.

Griz need to develop an attitude, that part is sadly lacking on this years team. Cherry cannot do it by himself although he makes a valiant effort. Why Stockton and Wood are the first off the bench is way beyond me. They both play tough defense but their offensive skills are negligible. Stockton missed three, maybe four open three pointers last night. Not to mention they both had turnovers as well. These guys are not the future and Tinkle needs to get his young players some game time experience, especially before conference which is here shortly. I just don't see the chemistry developing this year and I won't even start on Selvig. Ok I will. He just seems to be in another world. I watched Tom Chambers at Utah develop into an all star and his freshman and sophomore years he could hardly dribble. If anything Selvig has digressed.

Huh? Stockton didn't shoot last night and had no turnovers. Woods took one 3 and had 1 turnover. Selvig was the leading rebounder, had 2 blocks and had 8 points.

The starters certainly played heavy minutes against Nevada, kinda strange how little the bench was used. Would like to see Reader and DeShields get some more minutes, it seems like off the bench they are the guys with the most offensive potential, which the Griz need right now. I know Reader especially has been in the doghouse at times for defensive lapses, but they could use that inside presence.
