Jimmy Kalbfleisch, a devoted Griz fan for many years passed away this previous June at the young age of 87. Jim and his wife Virginia could be seen and heard at many Griz games as they were season ticket holders for who kmows how many years, I was fortunate to get to talk with him about the Grizzlies many times. In his final days I was fortunate to get to have the middle of the night shift where we spoke about the Griz, God, and many other things.
Anyway, he asked me who won. I TOLD HIM THE GRIZ WON 37 - 35 on a hail Jimmy pass on the final play! Jimmy got the biggest happiest smile ever as I told him instead of Hail Mary it will now be called Hail Jimmy. Jimmy wishes everyone a safe and fun weekend. From Virginia and Jimmy. GO GRIZ!
