GRIZ/Wildcat winner hosts......game thread

I can't believe Weisner missed that..should have slammed it down....Stewart with 7 rebounds..14 seconds left in the half...love this..Cherry scores....34-24..life is good.

Maybe it just doesn't come over on camera, but the crowd seems very subdude compared to other places...but this game is like the MSU game...frenzied with moments of great play....
 
34-24 at the half. GRIZ with 4 missed bunnies. Weber State missing a few easy shots too. I am surprised at the 10 point lead. I love the way the GRIZ have shadowed Lillard and Bamforth in the zone, forcing them to take bad shots, and others to beat them. A+ Game plan defensively. Offensively, other than dumb turnovers, GRIZ are executing well. 9 points off the board.

Weisner looking really good on both ends of the court. Kareem becoming the primary distributor with Selvig in foul trouble. Speaking of Jamar, he is getting a lot of praise from the announcers. Right before the half, they were talking about his overall game, and think he has a shot at the next level, being he is only a sophomore.

GREAT CROWD TOO!!!
 
Excuse me Fullerton, you are so full of it!! The only time the BSC does not have an empty gym for the conference championship is when the host team makes the championship!
 
Great first half by the Griz. They're doing a good job of defending Lilliard....hopefully they can keep it up. I'm sure he's going to come out firing in the second half.

MSU did that, too...he is not invincible with a fast guy on him...Cherry and Jamar and the rest are doing the job....he only has 7 pts....same as Bamforth...the Griz have to keep it up..that isn't easy for two entire halves...

ON Big Sky TV I am beginning enjoy the enthusiam of these obviously young guys. I think eventually they are going to jump and cheer for a great Griz win. Are these the same as on Alt.?
 
Cherry is not dominating this game statistically, but his defense and athleticism is being notice tonight by a few NBA scouts.

More like the weakness of BSC officials. One fouls was not a foul, another was questionable, and the other foul was pretty legit. Not his fault.
