GRIZ/Weber State Game 2 thread

Eh, this kind of game was bound to happen. Bound to be a let down after the Griz just crushed their rival twice in a row and then had to come in to the empty Weber stadium to play.
 
They took Cherry to the end of the bench to work on his ankle right before the timeout. It didn't look like he was putting any weight on that ankle.
 
Griz are a bad road team. Everyone wants to dwell on the win at UCLA, but outside of that game they have been below average on the road. I hope that I am wrong, but the Griz will be lucky to win any of the road games they have left.

Don't make excuses. Either show up every game, or don't pretend you are a contender.

There's no pretending. Montana IS a contender. And these games DO happen. Doesn't make them any better but it's only their 2nd conference loss. And they're still in first.

If we end up losing this, it would make us 6-5 on the road. Not too shabby really. It's also the best record in the Big Sky on the road by far (The next closest is NAU at 4-7). Sure this is a huge let down tonight. Several players we usually count on have not played well tonight. These types of games happen occasionally.

Autry is playing better than Cherry did tonight.....there is no excuse for this performance..8 pts by qvale all in the first 24 pts of turnovers for WSU...I bet Tinks is going to go nuts in that locker room.
 
Dexter, look a little closer at the road games. UM has won at Sac, ISU, MSU, Idaho, UCLA, and Fullerton...not exactly good teams. Then look at where they lost, Utah, Nevada, San Francisco, and UNC. There is nothing there that indicates they are a good road team. The UCLA win is the exception.

even UCLA looked better than the Griz tonight.....and that is pretty bad..
