Griz vs Wolfpack

Love this schedule and it will pay off in the long run... just hope the young dudes stay hungry and keep their heads up.

And yes they could still come back and win this one.

Rorie misses a couple open 3s that could've made it interesting. 2-13 as a team from 3, not a recipe for an upset.

Well it's frustrating to be 0-3 but I really believe in this team. Story of the game was fouls on (13 FT attempts to 27) and transition opportunities given up due to turnovers on defense, offensively 3 point shooting was an issue (5-18 but 3 of the makes came in the last 3 or so minutes when it was out of reach) for a team that should have a number of capable shooters.

Protecting the ball is the biggest concern going forward but I think that's to be expected to some degree against a big athletic ACC team. I'm very excited about this team, Pridgett looks like a huge addition and the returnees are a very good group with a lot of experience.

Griz are gassed..
Yep. Looked like that toward the end. Effort was their, but NC State seemed to always have fresh legs (with talent) on the court while the Griz guys couldn't get a breather. No surprise there.

It is encouraging to see them hanging with these teams, now we need to go out and steal some wins!
Have to agree. Wins would be preferred, but I think these games will pay off for the Griz in the long run.

NC State only used 7 players so it's not like they had more bodies than us. The size/athleticism advantage they hold likely made it easier for them to hold up though.

Hit it right on the head. Turnovers and fouls cost us the game. We could win the next game.
GO GRIZ!!
