Griz vs UNC

33-24 GRIZ at the half. Great defense and rebounding by the GRIZ. GRIZ should be up more than 9. Unfortunately a few too many turnovers and an offensive drought the last 4 minutes of the half kept UNC within double digits. Nice 1st half, nonetheless.
 
Montana playing an outrageously sloppy offense this first half. They should be ahead of UNC by 14-16 pts. Griz are lucky they're not playing against any other Big Sky team (UNC is not a good defensive team). Griz better brace up for smarter play if they want to take this one from the Bears.

I read somewhere that it is the first road sweep for MSU men since 2004-05 season.

15:21 to go, Griz up 42-32.

Breunig having a rough game so far, only 2 points. UNC is doing a good job keeping the ball out of his hands.

Griz D is giving UNC all sorts of troubles though. They are 9-31 from the field.. 26.5%. Griz are 17-36.
 
I love how every time there's a blocking foul on UNC the UNC announcer says the Griz player pushed off :P

Gfeller with another 3. Griz up 48-36 with 13:30 to go. Gfeller has 15, Gregory has 10 and Krslovic has 9.
 
UM doing it yet again. Nearly every game this year, they take a good lead and then let the other team close in.....48-41

Yup. Couple bad turnovers during this UNC run too. Griz up by 4, 48-44 with a bit over 9 mins to go
 
How do you give up a 15v pt lead to UNC? There is something wrong with this team somewhere. This happens almost every game...to much reliance upon the 3? too much passing? Too little? Can't figure it out.

I think you overrate UM and underrate UNC...and there is something wrong with every team...
 
GRIZ have to get it out of their head that teams will come back against them. They lose focus offensively for 5 to 7 minutes per game.
 
Had a chance to get the lead back up to 6, but missed the front end of the 1 and 1. Griz up by 4 with 6:26 to go in the game and UNC ball.
 
Griz up 57-53 with Breunig going to the line to shoot 2. 3:39 to go.

Nice to have Breunig in there to help break the press. Good ball handler for a big guy.
