Griz vs UC Riverside

This will be an interesting match up as Riverside's strength is our weakness. Rebounding and pounding the ball inside. It will be a test as to how the Griz respond on the road to this pressure. I think it will also tell how the team will perform in the conference with teams that have the same type of players.
 
just got home and listening to game now. who is doing what? wtf, no stats link either? what is wrong? there was not an audio link at montanagrizzlies.com either.
 
UC riverside wins 58 - 53.

Way to many turnovers for Griz. Not sure of the total turnovers but at one point in the second half it was 14 turnovers for Griz and only 5 for UC Riverside.
 
man, you gotta wonder what it'd be like if some of the football enthusiasm ever transferred over to basketball. i see the attendance for this game was something like 400, when there were probably ten times that number of griz fans in bars and rib joints half way across the country in chattanooga.

we obviously killed ourselves with turnovers in this game but at that we outscored them from the field. always tough to win on the road in college basketball.
