Griz vs Southern Utah

Weber took one at home by 7.....they are really fast...NAU did not play that well all year....Weber is most certainly the team to beat this year....going to get interesting.

Got lazy the last 3 - 4 minutes. Have to close out better. Game would have been a bigger blowout had we shot better in the first half and made FTs in the second half.
 
73-67 Griz win. Aside from the last few minutes, the Griz dominated. Shouldn't have got that close at the end but the Aussie went out of his mind shooting threes and the Griz were playing too soft and not making FTs down the stretch. Seemed to be contagious.
 
T birds game reminds me of some intramural teams, hack early and often, shoot the 3s at every opportunity...they have some athletes but have little regard for team play...

officials seemed to be in a haze, having difficulty with basic blocking/charging calls as well as what constitutes traveling
 
ISU beats Sac State by 1. What a crazy world we live in. Also No Dak beats EWU. Two teams that are supposed to be towards the top of the conference losing tonight.

Yeah, there were some head-scratcher calls. I'm surprised SUU couldn't get more going in the middle considering they had a much bigger, more physical center to start the game.
 
Well, I love the Griz, but that was horrible? We were a top 5 team ft%?? We just shot 43 and barely won by 6 pnts? I havent seen the stats yet, but based on ft% alone, we should have won by 20+?? We looked like crap tonight on our home court?? If this was at SUU? It would have been a good win, but im very disturbed by the boys tonight? Maybe a little cocky and confidant? Not sure, but it wasnt good! Tinks did the best job of the year, and maybe his career of changing up the D in the 1st half, but the boys played like a JV team?? WTF? They know it and will get better, but that was flat out a horrible game?? A win is good :o :clap: :thumb:
