Griz vs Sac

Foul trouble is why we saw the young guys for a good stretch in the first half. The second half was pretty much par for the course for how Tinkle likes to play. One thing can be said for this team, though, and that is they are well conditioned. They play hard the whole game and don't seem to get worn down easily.

It was an odd game, though. It's pretty rare that the home team gets homered that badly in the conference, but it happened to Sac last night for sure.

Interesting comment on the Sac State board (okay, it was the ONLY comment!!) about the game. The poster admits he didn't see the game, but believes that the reason PSU was called for more fouls in the game was due to:

but it doesn’t surprise me that the BSC refs would affect the outcome of a game to protect one of the “perennial” programs in the conference

Evidently, he didn't watch last year's BSC title game!
