Griz Vs NoDak Gameday

This game will go down in Griz lore/history.
As said earlier: "Instant classic."

After thirty+ years of following Griz football, nothing much surprises me ... but this is definitely up there. And, for all you haters out there, I totally credit Hauck and his staff. Somehow – despite their so-called outdated ways – they instill a toughness, grit, and never-say-die attitude in these young men.

One more point: That is one fine North Dakota team the Griz just won over. If they don't brood over this painful loss – it happens – they're gonna win a lot of games. Don't be surprised if we see them in the playoffs.

Well guys that was one heck of a game. I was so disgusted by about 4 minutes into the fourth quarter that I was ready to leave and go home. I sure am glad that we stayed till the end, which we always do even if we lose, but what a way to gut it out and get the win. Funny story: I was walking down the north end zone concourse and saw a UND fan and said good game, he glared at me and kept walking. Sore loser. Ha.

Wow. Last year when we lost in Grand Forks the Griz fans in attendance were class acts after the game. In fact some of us joined the Hawk fans at their after-game tailgates.
