I think this thread needs some theme music

This season is becoming more and more unpredictable with each passing game. Now down to QB #3, how will Simis look with an extra week to prepare. On paper this should once again be an easy win for the Griz, but no game has gone the way it theoretically should this season. This is a must win for any chance at the playoffs, lets hope this starts a decent winning streak.

GRIZ - 28

North Dakota - 24

Griz defense plays well and Simis and the offense do enough for the win. Stitt also settles for a couple of field goals this time around. Griz 27-14

Team with the most points wins, hope the genius OC can pull this one out.

Go defense,Go Griz.

Thank you for having the giant nads to type what most of us are feeling. Who is this guy to sell himself to Haslam as some kind of goddamned offensive "genius?" And how stupid was Haslam to fall for that charade? Fire them all and hire Larry Donovan!

To many questions on the Griz at this point. I say another home loss for our Griz.

UND 35
Griz 14 all points in the first half.

Griz O goes 3 and out a lot. D on the field the entire game and just gets tired and gives up 14 points in the 4th.

Wait a minute...is Stitt this guy?

"Currently, I work in IT at a college in West Virginia, but I have many years of experience with football, starting with attending my first Marshall University football game when I was 3 years old. In the past 30 years I’ve only missed a handful of Marshall’s home games, attended many road games, and all of their bowl games.

All the while I played various football games including Madden on Sega Genesis where I completely dominated with the Bills and Thurman Thomas. Seriously, was he a beast on the game or was he a beast because I was a football genius controlling him? I then moved on to a Playstation gaming system and purchased NCAA Football every year and put together several programs that completely dominated the recruiting scene and college football winning several national titles with Marshall University. I took them from a decent Mid-American Conference School on the game to a perennial national power that makes Nick Saban look like a chump. One year my third string quarterback left school early to enter the NFL Draft, he was a first round pick. Boom.

My football philosophy is basically an attacking one. We’re going to give AIR RAID a whole new definition. Theoretically how many times do you think a team can pass in a game? Challenge accepted. We’re going 5 wide, chucking the pigskin all over the place. Never punt. Onside every time. Chip Kelly will be calling me to learn my offense. We will put on an exciting brand of football, we will pack them into the Alerus Center night in and night out, go ahead and blow the roof off the place and add about 35,000 seats to that place.

I would love to speak with you further regarding this opening and what I can bring to UND, putting UND back on the national map and making NDSU our (b****).

Attached to this email you will find a PowerPoint with more information.

Thanks,"

I've read the posts regarding the upcoming game with N. Dakota with interest. Some are to the point while some hold out hope against increasing evidence that Coach Stitt is totally unqualified to coach at this level. It is really too bad that both Montana State and UM can't agree that one team forfeit its remaining games and combine the MSU offense and the UM defense and play out the rest of the season. Not that the Griz defense is all that great but they might not give up 50 points a game which the MSU offense is easily capable of scoring.

Seriously, lets not go through another three years of hopelessly hoping that things are going to get better. Fire Stitt immediately after this 6 and 5 season. Stitt's offense might be good for 6th grade flag football but doesn't cut it at this level. I don't really care who wins this game because with the remaining schedule and the inept play of the offense (and it wasn't that good with a first string quarterback), along with the bonehead calls on 4th down and not being able to count to three, this season is lost. And who would wan't to be recruited by this loser. It makes me sick that Coach Stitt feigns phony concern for the team's players when his coaching decisions are losing games. Stick a fork in it - its done.

Griz Nation I will always be, but good point to have fullbacks in place, if not and we run the same old 4 and outs, we lose this by a field goal again       :? Go Griz

Either I don't catch on to sarcasm very easily or their is a lot of whiny bitches on the prediction thread this week. I'm as frustrated as any Griz fan about some of the results this year, but wow....

DannyBoy,

We couldn't beat 'em, so we joined 'em. You know, reverse psychology, that sort of thing. :thumb:

Get on the the Negative Train!

Two teams with pretty fair defense, struggling offense. Advantage, home team. The boys are p'd-off, hungry and motivated as this is a must win, IMO.

With Mak's wheels, maybe he can keep the no-nicks defense rush somewhat at bay to allow time to hit some receivers or running backs out of the backfield. Maybe JC gets some more touches? Might be nice.

An opportunity for the Griz to get some footing and build a little momentum and confidence going into PS and beyond. Critical point in the season and a must win.
