Griz Vs. NAU

Trust me on this, they are a consistent shooting team now, but can have stinker game, like any team. From last season to Mid December this season, the confidence from outside was not there.

The GRIZ shoot the ball with confidence now. HUGE difference,that confidence will not leave them this season. :thumb:
 
Griz starting to get sloppy on boxing out. 1 or 2 players boxing out, rest, just standing there watching NAU rebound. Should tighten that up.
 
Can we somehow change Salvidar's name for broadcasts? Every time I hear his last name, I think
"Salad Bar". Call it petty, but it annoys me.
 
Nice half overall for Griz. Up 41-24. Keep playing consistent, and should coast to the end, maybe get some more quality minutes for the young'uns the last 5 minutes of the game or so.
 
Halftime, 43-24 GRIZ, other than a 2 minute lapse, GRIZ looking great on both ends of the court. Selvig, Jamar, and Ward, all looking great. Speaking of great, the TV guys are giving Selvig a lot of compliments. A healthy Derek Selvig is huge, and he has been playing well the past 6 weeks.
 
Is there a lumberjack dress up night tonight? That would be an unique tradition to start for GRIZ basketball, dress up in crazy costumes of your opponents nickname, then make fun of them all game.

Griz up 50-26, 17:40 left in game. Would be nice to see the guys box out, but can't really blame them for a mental lapse here and there with a 24 point lead.
 
Destroying the Jacks. I love not having to hold my breath when the Griz are shooting threes now! It's almost sad to put a beating on a team that obviously isn't all there this year, especially the Jacks. I would prefer the Jacks to be competitive and it sucks to see them this far down.

I was thinking the very same thing...NAU has a bball tradition and this is almost painful to watch. The Refs are certainly letting them play and they might be feeling the same....
