NAU has beat Montana once in the last 24 years & it was only by a field goal.

Let's make it 1 in the last quarter century. 8-)

Wow.

I knew the UM/NAU stats, of course. But I have to say I'm surprised at the NAU/MSU stats. I would have thought that was more of a toss-up, with the cats even having an edge.

I don't think Sours has ever beaten you guys, I would think after watching game film today that he is walking around with a hard on right now, just thinking about finally being able to cross that off his bucket list

I agree. NAU might be a sleeper in the conference this year.

If he got a hard on watching our game film he must of creamed his panties after watching MsU's...

I'll bet he's in creaming himself with the knowledge that the kittens needed 6-7 O-linemen on the line
to try to help protect the 9th best Quarterback in the Big Sky this week

Jerome has beaten the Ash Tray 3 of the last 4 times

Holy delusion!

Thanks for once again showing that your bias pushes your opinion into the realm of mental retardation

In case you haven't realized, "killerz", who has issues spelling things correctly, might be the most retarded poster here. And that's saying something

Maybe. UNLV is a good win (I guess), and the Fort Lewis game is just kinda whatever, but it's really hard to dismiss that extremely poor showing they had in Week 1.

I hate to interject logic into a perfectly good argument but I'm positive Jerome Souers hasn't given MSU anything more than a passing thought as NAU doesn't play MSU this year.

Cripes! That 1 and infinity streak the Griz have going vs. NAU is kick to the junk. He has a big monkey to remove from his back and it won't get any easier with a few more injuries on Saturday vs. Fort Lewis.

NAU has as much talent this year as any. To beat the Griz in Missoula, NAU has to play a flawless game and have more than a bit of luck go their way. Bauman is a beast at running back. Special teams, especially Austin Shanks, has sparkled so far this season. Defense is a bit banged up as are NAU's top two quarterbacks. The Griz are tough at home but have a few cracks in their armor and a new qb/coach as well. I anticipate a close game that goes down to the end as it has ...what...four of the last five Griz-Jacks match ups. Looking forward to this as usual, Griz fans.

Delaney has a winning formula. Run first, and stop the run. So far, under Delaney's leadership we are averaging 230.7 ypg rushing while allowing just 79. Our secondary will get better, and our front 7 are absolutely dominant thus far. Our linebackers are an imposing group to say the least. We will make opposing teams one dimensional this year, and once our CB's have developed we will be just fine. I watched both the Montana schools play on Saturday, and find it hilarious that Cat fans are on our site puffing up their chests. Fact is, their secondary looked less than stellar against a decent at best SFA team (SFA had 418 yds passing), and with the loss of Minter and Daly they won't be stopping the run against a decent OL with a good running back toting the rock.

Yeah, unless they shore things up, Moore, Nguyen and Canada are going to run roughshod over them again.

Not to beat down your argument, however, the Montana secondary allowed 321 yards to a RS-Freshman QB making his first start in Wa/Griz. I only point that out because it was his first collegiate start. Griz will get better but I don't think they have anymore freshman on the schedule the rest of the way.
