Griz vs N. Colo

I really don't think northern colorado has the horses to beat a focused Griz team. We have the players to win this going away but will the coaches finish what is started in the 1st quarter? Find out on Saturday. Not to over state the obvious we HAVE to win this football game. IF we don't start watching film of the scats cuz thats all we'll have left.

So, if we beat NC by one or two TD's this weekend, what does that say about the Griz/sCat game? MSU gave it to NC by a score of 10 to 42 (?). What if its Griz 21 NC14 or 17 :o Believe it says the odds are not so well for the "Brawl in Wa-Griz" this year. Or am i thinking too much   :thumb: Go Griz!!!

the law of transitive properties doesnt work very well in football, its more about matchups, I don't think you will do well against UNC, I think you will win but struggle, if that makes you worry about the Cats then its a good thing. :thumb:

Exactly. UNC definately is physical at the LB spot. If Moore is not back look for a some big hits on Ngyuen with the ball bouncing out. UNC just does not have the offense to stay with either MSU or the Griz this year. Griz by 17+ (unless the Griz have 5 Turnovers).

This could be very positive for the Griz. Yes they should dominate UNC, however, if Rosey will let TM loose a little more for the entire game it could build his confidence. Montana's young D has seen the top receivers in the nation already so UNC should not throw anything at them they can't handle (I hope)

Yeah you are safe with the UNC wide receivers. The QB also throws a very lofty/high long ball that can be picked as well. I see the Griz secondary getting some INT's this week.

This year's Griz schedule was front loaded with tough teams unlike the cats who have been feasting on cupcakes. I think the Griz will dominate UNC this weekend. 2506, November 17th could very easily see two 8-3 teams playing. There appears to be a discipline meltdown happening at the litterbox with shreibeis sitting out a game for an illegal hit, multiple penalties for chop blocks and players spitting on their opponents.

Yeah, we played cupcakes until SFA who you thought would beat us (oops), then we played UNC who always plays us tough and would beat us (ooops), then SUU who has an NFL QB and who you thought would beat us (oops).

Next up UC Davis. Any predictions?

Walkon79... just in case you have not read the news.
I thought the conference rules stated that if a player is ejected from a game then they have to sit out the next game. Big John was ejected for spitting on his opponent, ewwww gross.
I am encouraged to see that you recognize Ash's team has a problem with chop blocks which can be a real safety concern for the players as we say when the SUU players was helped off the field after getting hit.

The Griz will win a UNC. I was really impressed with our running game last Saturday.

MSU hasn't played a ranked team yet. Btw, UCD is also unranked, sooooooooo...enjoy the cupcakes...MSU will be coming down from their sugar high soon :thumb:

I've read the news and also watched the replay several times. Big John was spitting out his mouth piece, and the Schrebeis hit was not targeting or helment to helmet. And the play when the kid got hurt was a legal block called inaccurately by Big Sky officials. JMO

Walkon79... there is an e mail posted on bobcatnation.com (ever hear of it?) from Doug Fullerton to a cat fan regarding Schreibeis' hit. In the e mail fullerton mentions that play will be going on a national training tape because it is exactly what they are trying to prevent. It seems Fullerton is pretty convinced of the guilt of the Schreibeis hit.

Actually yes we have, Southern Utah was ranked when we beat them at their place. regarding the "meltdown" happening in Bozeman with no discipline... yes, that has always been a trademark problem for Ash, teams that are out of control.

Get a clue.

That email is not about Schreibeis .

They were?

Btw, I said nothing about "no discipline" in Bozeman.

Get a clue.

I will acknowledge that the Cats need to clean up a ton of stuff going forward, including major penalties and TO's.

Kool... I think you would be well advised to go back to bobcatnation and read the e mail from Fullerton one more time.
From that e mail,

Now, the one disagreement I have with your comments is that on the hit for which we suspended the safety from MSU - we have produced a series of stop action photos that show the player "launching" (leaving his feet) and the very first contact is with the crown of his helmet to the head of the offensive player. This was a very easy call - this is textbook what we are trying to get rid of. In fact, this play is going on a national training tape this week because it is so on point to what we are trying to eliminate. I don't know what else to say about all of this except that we review every play of every game. We have film evaluators across the country who get the films on Sunday and they alert us to these plays. In addition, each institution can send in plays for us to review. I feel very confident about our decisions to this point in the season. As far as singling out MSU - usually I am accused of favoring MSU, so this is unique - I just rule on them when they occur. MSU has had two suspensions and UNC had one two weeks ago. I have reviewed some 8-10 hits and have only taken these actions. Thanks for interest and the thoughtful email. Doug Fullerton""

And Foolerton is an idiot

Even your very own Colter Nuenez (UM Graduate) agreed>

"This is the still shot Fullerton sent me of that hit and this was his explanation back then"

Again, wrong player, wrong game dude!

that email is in regards to a safety at msu that was suspended a couple years back if i recall. schreibeis is not a safety. my guess is that in the initial email the writer brought up a previous incident in which a cat player was suspended. fullerton seems to be saying that that incident seems to be textbook. and he's right. i don't know what he said about the schreibeis hit but it was a terrible suspension in my opinion.

long story short.....you're not understanding the context of the email....

My question is why do we even care about a scat football player being suspended in a no colo. thread?
I don't care if the scats win or lose, are hurt or not, or even if they are. We need to win this game and thats all that matters.
Go Griz!!
