Griz vs Missouri State Official game thread

With a new starting QB behind center for us and three new starters on our O line, not to mention a new NT, DE, three new starting LB's, new starting CB's, including nickel, and new starting safety joining Meyer, we have a lot of new starters. so I hope we hold our first-game mistakes to a minimum and can win the game !!! ( Fortunately, a lot of these new starters did see extensive playing time last year .)

Sorry for being Danny Downer-- I'm just saying I don't think Missouri State from the tough Missouri Valley is going to be a pushover.

You don’t consider our new 37 a returning CB starter?
 
So Delaware and Missouri State are ineligible for the postseason due to the move up this year. How was JMU able to compete in the playoffs the year prior to them moving up to FBS?

Strangely, I’m doing the same thing for your game. I always enjoy a good staggered block of MT football. My prediction, the game may appear closer, however, was never within reach for Missouri, that is if the game plan is to switch QB’s here and there. On the other hand and after watching a few other games today, honestly, you guys will steam roll this year, so I won’t be surprised if it’s fairly lopsided. I’m not super impressed with some of the FCS games today. JUST NO INJURIES!

From a Griz family. Grew up cheering for them. Just went to the other school for athletics instead. Funny, I didn’t care much for the football team during the Ash years. As I have gotten older I, guilty as charged, have been having a shift in views. Mostly, I’d much prefer my kiddos go there for schooling or, fingers crossed, athletics. Nothing against Bozeman, it has perks, but I believe that Missoula, aside from sports has such a strong culture towards the school and tradition. Sometimes I kick myself for not taking the opportunity I had there, but I was also trying to be a bit rebellious to the family.

That makes so much sense. Like so many other Missoula kids, I wanted to get the heck out of Dodge for college, so I didn't go to UM either. But I had to be a Griz fan or my family would have disowned me lol.
