UC Davis was 2-2 (losses to Cal and NDSU)
Portland St was 5-4 (losses to Arkansas, Boise State, NAU, Idaho State)
So technically, Portland State was a winning team prior to losing to Montana.
A loss to Montana made both SD and UCD a losing record team.

I don’t think you really want to compare records of teams Montana and MSU have played this year, do you?

What does that have to do with what I said? I’ve not once said we played a tough schedule. I’ve known about this schedule for a year! It’s griz fans that really wanna talk about strength of schedule. I just asked what the best road win the griz have had this year.

We already were comparing opponents records. That’s what the entire topic has been. I even agreed that the cats haven’t played anyone. Doesn’t change what I asked.

I just assumed we were talking about strengths of schedules now. I do like that strategy though. I can say the cats are really good because at one point we were 5-1 with our only loss coming to an fbs team! :lol:

If opponents records are a sign of how good a team is, I think my point is valid. You’re 3-1 on the road in fcs. Your 3 wins were against 3 teams that have a losing record. And the only winning team you played beat you bad.

I don’t know why you guys are mad at this? It’s just what the records say. Just like the Cat opponents.
