I predict that no matter what the final score, people will say the Griz kicked their ass a lot more than the score would indicate. I also predict a half empty stadium by the end of the 3rd quarter (with a lot more maroon and silver than blue and gold remaining). I also predict a lot of pissin' and moanin' from both my brothers in law about how "the Griz cheat" and all the other bullshit excuses I've head since the late 80's.
Anything less and I'd be slightly disappointed.

The Cat defense didn't lose to UND. They gave up only one TD on a trick play in that game. Special teams lost that game. Also, MSU did not play Weber this year. However, it is a stronger defense than last year that won the game against the Grizzlies.

I didn't mean that the Cats played Weber. I was saying that Griz>Weber>UND>Cats. Who cares if Cats defense is better this year? The offense is actually worse than last year because Rovig is mediocre at best and Andersen is too injured to do it all himself. UM's offense, defense, AND special teams are all considerably better than last year, and while the score may be closer than some of us think, there's no way we lose this one.

BH will not take the gas off the pedal until the final seconds tick off. Look for long pass plays with a 40 point lead. hell I won't be surprised if we punch one it with 5 seconds on the clock and up by 42. I really feel bad for some of the cat players because they are good kids who work hard that got stuck with a prick for a coach. Look at what happens when a coach takes full responsibility for a bad loss (us vs Sac) compared to a coach that throws his players under a bus after a loss. One thing you can bet on besides a lope sided win is the Griz coaches and players are going to be having fun.

I think this is going to be a tough, hard fought game. The Cats are a physical team just like us who play hard. I was impressed with how they finished the game at Davis. I don't expect the Griz to dominate this game. If we dont turn the ball over I say.

If MSU thinks they have a chance to win, they’ll have to throw the ball. They can’t. Elite QB play matters at this time of year. Maybe we have a slow start (maybe) but this game won’t be close. I think JLM gets in the end zone. Defense wreaks havoc on Rovig. Gubner gets a pick-six . Griz win, 38-21.

I would caution that they did not have a QB who could throw the ball the last 3 years and still won. Granted we r a much better team this year.
