My view and hope is that the Griz will have an edge in focus and motivation because so many of the players are transfers who came to UM to win a national championship. Both teams know the playoff implications, but I believe the Griz transfers will have extra motivation and desire. Some of them have more pure physical talent than the Cats or they will be motivated to reach deeper for the talent they have. I am hoping the Cats or some of them will not be able to withstand the pressure of the game and the crowd. I believe the Griz will be able to withstand adversity better than the Cats.

Excited about the game, but not nervous at all, at least yet.

I was in the western metro of the Twin Cities this morning and ran into three couples wearing Griz gear, which is not very common, and a good omen. Lots of excitement about the Griz, in Minnesota, this year.

I was covering a high school playoff game here in AZ last night. Saw a fan of the opposing team wearing a Griz hat. Had a conversation with him and also saw it as an omen.
